At first glance I was excited by this, but then I saw the Reckless Noble Topaz :) It's not bad if you're hit capped and an orange gem throws off your meta...but I can't see that happening...

from wowwiki: At level 70, 15.7 (as of 2.2) points of spell haste rating grants 1% spell haste bonus

This item should grant a 0,5% casting speed increase.
3 seconds cast - 0,5% = 3 * 0,995 = 2,985 s cast

If can add 10 of these to your gear its:
3s cast - 2,5% = 3 * 0,95 = 2,85 s cast

A very expensive item for a small boost. Pyroblast wont be replacing fireball in a long while.

Then again if you get more spell haste items you can start to see very fast casts going around. Be sure to bring lots of mana pots or a portable Shadow Priest

This will be added to the patch 2.4.2 on the Gem vendor. So your server still need to finish Phase 4 to get access to it.

Quick Dawnstone, Reckless Noble Topaz, Forceful Talasite are now all available at the Quel’danas gem vendor.

Is there any Formula currently available for Spell Haste?

been trying to get hold of a Gem, but been unsucsessfull on my server for less than 100g (Argent Dawn possy FTL) been keen to see what 8 points in spell haste would actually take off from say... a Shadowbolt for a Warlock!

The patch notes said this and other spell haste gems were added to the Sunwell daily vendor but they're not there...wtf?

3rd phase, I think, is when the vendor for these patterns will spawn.
