This is a good weapon. And often you can find it cheap on the AH cause folks don't want to swing a mug during their 40s. Bang for the buck, this is usually a steal on most servers.

I rocked it for about 8 levels before I came across something better.

Found mine in a solid chest in the tanaris pirate's compound. I was there farming pirates, hoping that Wirt's Third Leg might drop (another 1H mace, 1% drop rate), so I was thrilled to get this one with better dps instead. As a dual-wielding lvl 45 enhancement shammy this mug rocks!

The proc is completely useless, its the same dazed effect you get when mobs chase you, but at least it procs decently regularly. As for the other weapon attributes, I switch out my sword of omen for this on my paly because of the faster attack speed; and it's a mug.

Dual Wielding these on my shammy... got 2 fairly cheap on the AH (~20g, that's 4 dailies for both, meh) considering the cost of other blues around that level.

Probably not the best things to be using but rockin out with 2 steins is kinda awesome.

The chance on hit works often too.. ima rouge with it in my off hand and works as crippling poison so i can double up on something else like instant

I just picked it up for my rogue in Zul Ferras, i'm not sure if i'd use it or give it to one of my guildies.. But just beating on alliance with a mug of ale sounds kinda fun, bar fight anyone?

But if you are a Shaman and still want too use it I recommand Rockbiter instead of Windfury since it got such a low hit dmg the rockbiter will be a better choice then Windfury, when you crit with rockbiter you can get 350 dmg and you will get flurry (30% better attack speed if talentspoints maxed on it)

Allright after testing this weapon with both Rockbiter and Windfury weapon I give up... It really isn't worth the trouble/money of getting it... As a shaman I don't recommend it!

u must be foolish if u think daggers suck, if your a combat rogue then you should ambush and weap switch macro to swords/mace, or have a dagger on offhand to have greater poison proc.

Totally on accident, too. I was in the Blasted Lands killing the vultures there for Jet Black Feathers so I could make a Feathered Breastplate, and it dropped off one of them. I guess I had killed around 20-30 of the buggers. I must say, it's absolutely awesome with how fast it is. If I put Deadly Poison on it, it hits so much, they have a 5-stack of the poison on them in no time. If I use Slice & Dice plus Berserk at the same time, the speed becomes too fast to follow. This makes for a lot of dead alliance, which is good by me! :)

I am a mace rogue, meaning I get a 5% chance to stun for 3 seconds when fighting with maces.

I have 2 Mugs enchanted with Icy Chill.

Just bought this beast on Rexxar for only 3 gold! Kinda feel sorry for the chap who sold it to me though... But man does this thing rock! Slap an Icy on it and you will own in PvP.

So I have had this mace on my paly for 10 levels now and I really love it.
It is the fastest mace out there at 1.50 and I have all the shield protection talents and have a great shield. so what I typically will do is run in and start tanking while I throw the seal of wisdom, and then I use judgement and then throw the seal of light. That way I am constantly building mana and health while slowing the enemy. (plus it is giving this to my whole group that are close enough to me)
the other nice thing is to use the seal of the crusader to attack 40% faster. I can tank against most mobs with my shield for long amounts of time while only occasionally have to do flash of light spell.

I got this off an Enraged Rock Elemental in the Badlands, shortly before getting the last piece of the scroll for The Lost Fragments, which was why I was killing them. It cracks me up! I can't decide if I love the name or the fact that it shows up as a mug more. It even has better DPS than the mace I was using when I got it...perfect!

Im a 46 rogue and Im dual wielding this little bastard. Im combat/assassination specced and have 5/5 in Mace Specialization and I have to say, it rocks man! Though is have a little low speed for a main hand combat spec :P
In 49 I get Hammer of the Northern Winds and then Im going to PvP like hell with that and this<3
Both have a slowing effect and a 6% chance of stunning the enemy :D No one can get away then!

Just picked up a Mug O' Hurt off of a Highvale Ranger while I was farming for mageweave. Didn't see any info about that anywhere on thottbot. Too bad my lock can't use it.

Got it from the AH(elite 80) 100% drop rate i guess xD

p.s. 21-24g preety cheap with fiery or icy ench and quite deadly on enh. shaman xD
p.p.s. dudes, learn to play :) windfury POWA! just farm some gold for the best equipement! i got average of 250-270dps with two of these babies with fiery and windfury on them :P

I can do icy ench, but since i got earthbinding totem and frosh shock(after the stormstrike ofcourse) i doubt anyone could get away (exept twink mages :( )

just ganked 44lvl priest(full buffed) and ench. shaman 38lvl full buffed plus priest buff :) i won it with half of my mana and 1/3 hp XD priest was eating dirt befor she could do anything :)

I wish you could see it when you didn't have weapons drawn. It doesn't show hanging at your side like normal swords/dagger/mace does. Any way to add it Blizz? Sure would look cool.

Also dropped for me off an ordinary undead highborn in Azshara (45-46), just inside the Ashenvale border.

I suspect, however, that most of the WoW items are world drops connected only to the level of the mob killed. Camping for an item is likely not going to work.

My 41 enhancement shammy uses this along with heaven's light.
Imagine it with frostbrand and icy enchant 0o... thats a whole lot of slowness... i may have to call it the lag mug :P

Got it from one of those raptors in un'goro. Ravasaur Runner i believe...either that or it was just a generic Ravasaur. kinda useless by the time you're killing those guys though :P

This item is AMAZING. It's a DAZE effect NOT A SLOW. Druids CANNOT shift out of it! Likewise? Paladins -cannot- freedom it! It's scary. This item is so good it's a must-have level 60 PvP item for paladins.
