Soloed this at 24 for the horde paladin quest. I just killed the ones outside the instance and it dropped on the 6th kill.

The drop rate is way off since this is a paladin only quest.

Got it from Tide Priestess on 6 or 5th kill. It was pretty hard for me cuz i was holy paladin lvl 21.

Got it from my first Tide Priestess just after jumping down and swimming in BFD.

At first I pulled both Nagas standing there but the next time I just Hammer of Justiced the priestess and ran behind a pillar so she would come to me.

Easy kill as level 21 Retribution Paladin.

First and only kill. Very easy to solo as a well geared 23 holy pally. Crusaider judgement, seal of righteousness, consecrate, judge righteousness, loot.

Personally, I picked this up on my first try.... AFTER I picked up the quest. The first time though I didn't realize that I had to pick up a quest in order to get this to drop. After 50 kills and seeing people say that it "dropped right away", I checked to make sure I was on the right mobs. Make sure that you have the quest to pick this up.

Drops at a high rate from the Tide Princesses and Oracles (if you have picked up the quest of course) who are no longer elite as of 2.3.

As a 23 ret pally I got it after I killed two Priestesses and a satyr. All I did was consecrate, SoC, heal, and hammer of justice when needed. Really easy.

Got mine of my first Blackfathom Tide Priestess kill. Did it as a decent geared 21 ret pala without any trouble at all.

6th kill off of Tide Priestesses/Oracles, located outside of BFD after jumping down and swimming under the ledge. I also got my Damp Note same drop and did the Essence of Aku'Mai quest for some easy EXP. Did it at level 21 Ret.

Getting it is pretty easy, for me anyway. As stated above by Henkwich_88 the Tide Priestesses can drop the gem outside the instance. It droped on the first kill for me.

SO EASY QUEST! i entered BFD, killed 1 satyr and 2 naga pristess... droped on the seacound! done in 5 min.. wow...

yes u can get the gem outside of the instance i got it on a blackfathom oracle, you do not need ot be inside the instance.

i think the droprate has been increased. i got mine on the first kill too :)

Just enter (BFD)Blackform Deep in Ashenvale and kill the Oracle. You dont need to enter the instance.

The only reason why the drop % are so low is that the program that gathers the data gets it from players with and without the quest. Its probably actually like 75% I'd say.

I have been 2 BFD 5 times and never in that 5 times have got the gem wtf is wrong with me?

I am a level 24 paladin.
Normal geared, and holy specced.

I have to say that it's VERY EASY.
It just goes slow (escpecially when they heal) but u can take 1-2 at a time
(be sure to use Judgement so they dont flee. Seal of justice).

I got it off my 3th kill. Very easy quest part

If you are blood elf where can i take quest for drop that gem like alliance quest?

WARNING to Blood Elves. Dot NOT go to Auberdine. It is an Alliance town and they will kill you! If you are on the Path Of The Adept, then you don't need another quest to get the Gem. Just go to Blackfathom Deep and kill Naga until it drops.

I don't know exactly how many I had to kill, but when I entered BFD I was at 21 and 15 bars, and when I got my gem I was at 22 and 8 bars.

First kill my ass. >_<

went in to solo it, got it first kill. Not recomended to solo though as it's a tough fight and will take a long time if you don't get the drop early!

ya this is cartmanspali off lethon i did this quest on my freinds character and it toke less then 10 min including the walk there all u need to do is kill the people in the giant pit leading to the instance and on the first kill it dropped for me well GL to anyone doing this quest and i hope this was useful

This is officially No Longer Difficult, since the mobs it drops off of are not elite any more (as of patch 2.3) ...

it takes the mic sometimes, i killed everything in and out of BFD and the non eletes your ment to kill to get it 3 times over and i still havent got it

thottbot bot says low droprate and if you just scroll down and read the 1st and last and long yellow notes you would not know that this is a high droprate, also 1+1=fish

Got it on my 2 mob, but i attacked 2 prineces, so first the first gor heald by 2th then she healed herself, then the 2th healed herself to 100% as the otherone did aswell but they didn´t event take me over 50% xD, easy after patch

This dropped off one of the Tide Priestesses before I even got into the instance...the hard part was running from Orgrimmar all the way out there!

Easy to kill solo as a level 26 pally.

as 20 lvl pala the hardest part was to run all the way there .... fortunately i got the gem on the 2nd kill :) it wasnt easy to solo 2 Tide Priestesses but i got luck :D

i thought you had to go into instance but got it first kill from a tide preistess as a lvl 22

absolutely the worst quest drop in the entire dog game, killed over 100 of them and nothing

This quest is actual cancer to get. I have killed roughly 25 of these useless mobs and no ORB. Other paladins left the group now I am stuck doing it on my own. Should be 50% chance!

Possible BUG.
I have been shared this quest by another paladin instead of picking it up. I believe this could be an issue.
