I tried doing this part of the quest, with lvl 44 - 46. We got him down to about 20% health. Its annoyig becuase there is over 30+ guys in the room, that he summons. So Becarefull! You will need a healer, 2 Warrios, and most of all, Warlock. Make sure ur lvl 46+

Have a single person take care of most of the adds, and the rest of you concentrate on the boss, the rest vanish once he's dead.

DPS that can be spread among multiple targets. I.E. Keep 3 DoTs on the boss, and nuke the adds. Also you can give everyone healthstones, and a soulstone to the healer in case they get owned.

Do like this
1. tank+3 on the boss
2. on kill the adds (not elite)
3. When the elites are coming Everyone on the boss.. When the boss i dead does all the other mobs die.

=)

My way to do this encounter is:
Warrior on the boss, Healer heals him

Rest of the group on the adds.

When the boss hits 50%, the warrior stops his attacks and just stands there and takes the pounding until all the side-mobs have been taken out.

Then everyone nukes the boss and ignores the two elites that get activated eventually.

You don't get the necklace power source if you kill the boss with more than 5.

Wow a ten-man instance thats insane you can do it with five. We did it with a 'lock two paladins and a hunter and warrior. Did it fairly easy. The warrior on the boss 'lock and hunter on the adds pally's both heal the other three people. When the elites start to come all on boss. Power source didn't drop on the first time though. Dono why. Is he really level 500 or are his stats level 500

38 - Priest
44 - Rogue
42 - Warlock
42 - Druid

We four manned the entire instance. If you can't beat it with 5 then maybe you should just /quit.

I was on mob... all other was on boss... we all focused on boss when the 2 giant spawned and we got it very easy... :P

lvl 59 warrior
popped down totems and was piece of cake with such high lvl ppl... hunter and mage took down adds, 1 shammy heal and meelee to boss, rest full DPS to boss

My group killed him quite easily.

42 Hunter (me)
43 Mage
45 Druid
41 Rogue
60 Pally

Granted it was easier with the 60 there but the way we did it, right after we woke him up with the pillar thing we all ran up the ramps to the room above. That way the adds came one at a time or in small groups and we could beat them easier then we just waited for him to get up there and we all killed him then ran back down and looted the stuff.

Why would you want to advertise the fact that you needed lvl 50+ characters to help you do this?

Ok, a group of us did this without any problems.

Me - Level 37 Paladin
Hunter - Level 39
Warrior - Level 42
Warrior - Level 43

All you have to do is summon Archaedas, then run out of the room...up to the circle room (the one you already killed with the Stone Keeper). He will follow you there. Once he gets close to dying only a few mobs will show up. Once hes dead they die too. NO problems, I was main healer and none of us even came close to dying.
