This necklace's rather strange stat mix makes it a very average caster item... looks like a mistake, doesn't it. Should probably have been a 5 sta, 5 int, 10 spi mix instead.

As it is, It's ok grinding gear for a lock, and druids/priests/mages will make the most of it regen-wise with the right talents, but at that level most people will be better off with Necklace of Calisea (world drop, https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=1714) or Triune Amulet (Scarlet Monastery, 36% drop off High Inquisitor Whitemane, https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=7722)

Quest reward from The Shattered Necklace chain, ending in Restoring the Necklace (Dungeon) for the alliance (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=2204/restoring-the-necklace). Pretty lame, considering by now you already can choose among Dragon Blood from a SM quest, Triune Amulet from that priestess in SM Cathedral.

The nice thing about this necklace is that it disenchants into a large radiant shard :P

As a warrior I love this necklace its alot more useful for me then because of the stamina over intell. PS to get this you need to collect alot of items and in the end you need 3 ppl to go into uldaman and kill the Main boss (requires atlest 3 ppl) I did it with a 60warrior/58pally ez with help its just gathering all the gems that takes a while. Well worth the time and effort.

A) The question wasn't which class it would be best for, but whether it was better for a warrior than the Triune. Clearly it is.

B) It's a quest reward, not a rollable drop.

It's hard to imagine you being more off-base if you tried.

im a hunter and want the WSG necklace reward though. yea thats my 2 cents. finally found out that talvash gave me this piece of crap after working hours for it. only spirit and stam...and one intel. i dunno if its worth it, but the exp is good!

we'll u say not useful for a hunter depends on where u re talent points are i m mark and 10 int bonus +spi and stam is actually very good

This is a dandy necklace upgrade from the most likely previous Alliance slot-holder, the Ironforge Excavator's necklace gotten from previous quests for the Ironbands. My warrior is making good use of the +10 Stamina. Any caster ought to have some respect for this thing too, Spirit helps all of them, although I wouldn't trade out Triune for this either.

Yes, Triune is better, but this is still pretty darn good, especially if you're not a caster and have no business rolling on Triune. It's the same amount of stats (21pts), but with a much better distribution for wars and rogs. Rogues will especially appreciate the boost to energy regen from the Spirit. Trolls ought to dig on this mercilessly, Spirit amps their natural regen.

In short, it ain't so bad, unless you've got a Triune and need the Int.

Agreed, for it's level it could have a little more intellect, this is not better then the Triune Amulet which comes from a much easier instance. (SM)
