This item is required to complete The Hidden Chamber quest (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=2240) in Uldaman. This item is found in the chest next to Baelog in Uldaman. Join this piece with the The Shaft of Tsol (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=7741#00Rz), dropped by Revelosh further in the instance.

Join the two pieces together to form the Staff of Prehistoria (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=7733). Once you have formed the staff, you place it in the ground in front of the hidden chamber to open the doors, and the boss Ironaya will come out. Once you down the boss, make sure you go all the way into the chamber to complete the quest.

Tsol spelt backwards is Lost.

The task for opening the door to this boss is a reference to the movie "Raiders of the Lost Ark".

"...the headpiece to the Staff of Ra, a key artifact which is essential in calculating the Ark’s resting place..."

The sunlight enters the chamber and strikes the headpiece. The gem focuses a beam of light onto the model city, showing where the Ark is concealed.

Anyone noticed that:

tsol = lost (backwards)
and
gni'kiv = viking (backwards)

and the dwarves who have the amulet are the ones from the blizzard game 'The Lost Vikings'?

Found in the chest with the 3 NPC dwarves. Combine it with the shaft dropped from Revelosh to make the Staff of Prehistoria. Use that in the map room to open the door to the room you must enter for the Hidden Chamber quest. Also, opening the doors makes Ironaya (a boss) attack.
