everytime i creep aroudn the guy he coughs then spots me, ive tried to pick him a few times but he keeps seeing me (higher level move slower what do i do?)

I went stealth than sprinted and saped him before he could attack. Waited for a sec so I could go stealth again than pick pocketed him.

I used distract and then i used pick pocket.

Could not stealth up to key holder with out being seen.
Got quest at level 20.
3 in our group tryed to get key last after being poisoned maybe somthing to do with being seen in stealth.
So kill key holder stand slightly behind were key holder respawns as soon as he respawns pick pocket him and run we did thei 3 times it works well.
At respawn 2 wandering guard appear slighly before or after keyholder respawn they my not see you but we did not take a chance and took them out before they could cause any trouble

sheeped mobs can be pickpocketed! :D
i just helped a lvl22 rogue do this quest by sheeping the mob :DD

I just ran up and killed him, stealthed and waited for him to respawn. Before he had a chance to fully respawn, I had him targeted, and pickpocketed.
THEN he coughed and saw me...

So I killed him again. lol

Just have your friend aggro him. And when he stands there attacking just pickpocket him.

the reson why the key doesnt drop is cuz u need to be a high lvl to pick pocket him are be a spec in stealth or just get a lvl 28 or higher to let him attack them so u can pick pocket my lvl 21 blood elf rogue is a stealth spec so thats why the quest doesnt tell you to pick pocket forman silixiz to get his key
but u gotta do it

u dont need to cure the poison save it and plus u can just get a druid/shamen or a pally to cure but priest cant cure poison so just get one of them to clense you but u need to the quest for the cure so u can get poisons but if u have the cure but dont need them then just go pick the box to lvl up ur lock picking then use the cure to take the poison off but u cant do that quest again

OK HERS WHAT U HAVE TO DO

first the guy is on the left of the tower side, hes standing at a camp,

than if u approach him from front, he coughs and spots u... so GO FROM BEHIND if u go from behind him he dosent spot u and ur free to steal his key

dosent matter if posion is on u i did it with it on

wth do i do now ?
i just killed all the mobs for the q, i got the head, but i didn`t pickpocket the key and i`m poisoned now for 7 days...
how i`m gonna stealth and take the key now ?

y dont u use the passive skill deception? your gonna need it later for cheap shot anyways.

You need to do Roguish things....like pickpocketing the key, not trying to loot it from a dead body. Anyone can do that.

Silixiz won't drop ANYTHING. I've killed him at least 10 times and I can't even loot the corpse. Does anyone know why that would be? I can't loot any other mobs near him either except for the elite at the top of the tower.
