The droprate on scorpok pincers seems to be way, way lower than indicated here. KIlled over 20 of Scorpok Stingers, and not a single one dropped so far. And yes, I do have several quests that require them.

Edit: right after I posted this, they started dropping from about every third one. Apparently, I just had a very long streak of bad luck

Ive had troubles getting this item as well.
killed around 30+ and only got 5 of em..
Don't think drop rate 41%.... would say maybe 10-12% drop rate...

Maybe the drop rate was lowered in a recent patch?

I tried to get some of these today, and maybe I just had bad luck, but the rate sure seemed a lot lower than the reported 38%... I'd peg it at more like 10%; I got 3 out of something like 30 or so, over the course of about 3 hours.

Finding these seriously pissed me off.

Was low drop rate, and they were so few/far in between I was going crazy.

The problem is that there are too few scorpions, I'm not complain about low drop rate.

There are like ~20 other quest mobs around, but as far as I know only 4 scorpion spawn points, Blizzard really should greatly increase amount of those scorpions.

It already took me 1,5 hours and I still have only one Pincer, I even did Spirit buff quest already which require 10 Vulture Gizzards and 2 Snickerfang Jowls.

At first it does seem hard finding these guys for the drops so I got mad and starting sweeping the entire area where they are supposed to spawn. By doing so they started spawning really fast and got the drops in about 5 minutes.

56.22 mob of three and got 2 to drop

30% is in fact very correct..

Took me about 20 kills to get the 6 I needed for all 3 non caster quests..

Also, when I did this quest. The Scourge was invading the Blasted lands (patch 1.11) and they killed several of the scorpids before me :(

I don't know where they are getting a 30% drop rate. I killed about 20 of them today and not one drop. It is the only thing I need for each of the quests the Blood Elves give.

0,0000000001% drop rate.. these are freaking rare, been trying to get the last 1 for hours.

Those have shared respawn time with Starving Snickerfang. So kill damn hyenas.
