this pattern isnt even BoP, so if you dont wanna send ur lvl 35 to Tanaris, you can still get it by sending your high level there, and mailing it over... Think I may do that :)

On my server, all the mats apart from the Iron Bar was cost 8 Gold but Iron Bar is expensive so here an advice, get a friend who is a mining to mining iron ore and smelt for a decent price. I brought the mats and mined the iron for him and it was quite cheap.

Facts:
Recipe acquired: Gadgetzan, Alch vendor.
use: It is needed for Alchs to Transmute one item into another.
Cooldown: when you make a transmute, the cooldown is not on the transmute, but on the stone itself, so, lets say you do a 48hour transmute and want to do some 24hour cooldowned the other day, it won't be possible because it is still on cooldown from the last transmute.

I am new to alchemy, and cant find any information on this anywhere....when you get transmute...ie..mithril > Truesilver...can you only transmute one bar at a time? Or can you transmute any ammount up to a stack at a time....ie., 5 mithril (as stack) > 5 Truesilver?

dont think this was stolen from full metal alchemist...the idea of the philosopher's stone is pretty old

how do you actually use the stone though?
I have the stone, learned the transmute spells, have the iron bars, but cant figure out how to do it!
Would sure appreciate any advice, thanks!

2 things, the CD is 23hours, not 2 days on all transmutes (375 Alch FTW), and you use Alchemy to do transmutes, the stone itself is not a use item, just a reagent.

Im srry guys but this is unbelievable,
the Alchemists stone was the gift to humanity of the greek god alcie, father of science. It allowed the transmutation of lead into gold and bronze into silver. IT WAS NOT STOLEN FROM JAPANEZE CRACKPOT LITERATURE

And I'm sorry but i did not recall "Alcie" being a god in Greek Mythology, so i looked it up and there was nothing to be found on it... i guess you believe in a god that no one knows about =/. Sir "JAPANEZE CRACKPOT LITERATURE" ur Story Seems more cracked out then the anime(that seems to just plain not to fit your style and that your passing judgment on) you Need to get your facts straight.
