Farmed all the troggs before the golems room + the 2 archeologist resetting for about ten times the instances and got it, guess i'm lucky.
Will be pretty nice for my 39 twink mage, in the 2.3 :D

The listed mobs on wowhead might not be the only mobs that drop this beautiful hat.

Thottbot and Allakhazam both record different mobs dropping this. And they have very few records of the drops, like Wowhead. Even though thottbot is a pretty useless resource, the info gathered from Allakhazam can't be completely wrong. Seems to me not enough people have seen this drop with gatherer add ons, and thus we don't know ALL the mobs that can possibly drop this.

From what I've read 1 or 2 people have recorded mobs outside the instance to have dropped this (their reliability is questionable). Some have said the golem dwarves, and the golem boss have dropped this. And wowhead says the stonevault mobs and archeologists drop this head piece.

If you really want to get this, and have the time: don't limit yourself only to the mobs listed here.

I just had this hat drop off of the golem boss about 1/2 way through uldaman, that 44 or 45 elemental if that helps. Id say its fairly rare though..

Counting up the drops, this hat has only ever dropped for about 7 thottbot users! Either more people should contribute to thottbot (you leechers!), or this hat is pretty rare. Certainly, I've never seen it in the AH or on anyone's head.

Got it tonight with my 42 mage in a party of 3 pallys and 1 warrior (ridiculous i know) Looks awesome.... its gonna be one of those 'saving for when im 60' head pieces. :D

Makes me want to run around shouting 'YOU NO TAKE CANDLE!'

Running through Ulda with my 40 priest for the first time last night. Dropped off of a regular group and rolled a perfect 100 on this baby. Love the way it looks and love the stats on it!

Got it from my run with 2 warriors and another mage. Stats is really nice and helps with dodging attacks too with the added Agility. What a keeper indeed.

Im a lvl 52 Gnome Lock and Im still wearing this hat. I love it! It looks cool and the stats I havent found anything better. Ppl comment on it all the time. I bought it in the AH. Now i know it came from Uldaman!

Was in the AH tonight for 29g buyout and i wanted it so bad but didnt realise it was a rare drop.

anyway i was uming and ahing about buying it and when i went back for my final look to convince myslef to buy it well it was surely gone, and at that price im sure it will hit AH again in 2 minutes for a stupidly high ammount.

Dropped while I was farming Uldaman for money with my warrior. I got several BOE blues and even a Gut Ripper, but this was the only thing I couldn't seem to sell. Good stats but very comparable to the hat from Scarlet Monestary that is the same level. No one ever bought it... tried 100g, tried 5g... ended up sending it to my gnome mage who now wears it even at level 48 :) People love it.

wow, thats just a tad overpriced, considering it averages around 20g on the servers ive been on. awesome hat, but if i am not mistaken i believe there's another helm that is a hardhat (yellow) with the same lamp on the front. i have never seen this drop, but it would be excellent for my mage.

sweet @$$ helm.. best helm u can get till round 50 or so anyway, maybe even low 50's..not to mention the agility add's to your armor & dodge so that's a cool extra bonus to the already massive INT on it +17 ... yeah nice helm indeed.

bought it for 75g buyout, just cause it looks cool! stats, of course, but i think that any level can buy this for really big amount of money. Thats like a luxury cars that we spendin money on... :)

This is an insane hat perfect for a lvl 39 BG twinked spellcaster....got all the stats you want and the extra damage..although with the new 2.3 patch it is worth a lot more...not surprising at all.

if you see it GET IT!

They turned the AGI into +spell damage to get rid of the idiots who'd put it on a *!@#$%^ or warrior :P

shame the stats aren't too impressive, but i REALLY want that extra spell damage, very good for a helmet. i bet twinked up casters are all over this helmet in 39 pvp...... i wish it had a better drop rate, and maybe from a boss or something? i bet this helm is hard to come by...

Ulda after 2.3 is not as high-level mobs... does this still drop only in ulda, and off the same mobs even though it is req. 39 still?
