just go ahead and kill him but make sure that the best guild on server just arrived from Naxx and are going to do some T3 then they'll get pissed ^^ :P

Korfax > Eligor.

Eligor fights unarmed, though... so it's not so surprising that korfax with his huge axe would do more damage. This guy could solo naxxramas himself!

Echoes of War - after you get attuned. No rewards other than 3 gold, 96 silver, but I'm sure it leads to a followup. Havne't completed it yet.

The quest has you killing Naxx trash:
