I ran into him underneath halaa, I was low on mana and my pet was dead but still figured I could get him. I only expected him to drop some crappy green and was pleasantly surprised to see a blue. if you see him, nuke him, a few easy gold.

Mob has 'tendon rip' and 'gushing wound' abilities. Soloed as 65 Mage, pretty easy with my trusty https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/item=10506

Yeah, very easy soloable rare... I just got a good spot and get him alone, then i get him out from the water and killed him... I was 65 Pala... /bye

This crocolisk is really easy! I am a lvl 70 combat rogue and I had 5000hp left after killing him.

By far the easiest rare i have killed!

Solo Minutes after turning lv70
Was sitting on land close to the water near a few trees enjoying the serenity (42,48) when i noticed all the water elementals on my radar vanished,
He spwned right in front of me and pet was onto him straight away.

Killed him as a level 64 BE Holy Paladin. Took less than a minute. Has a silver dragon around his portrait. So I assume he's a rare Elite. He dropped the Blue Plate wrists of the champion for me. I was able to sell them in the auction house within 2 hours for 40 gold. Did I get lucky or did some tank get a good deal? Either way it was a quick and easy 40g.

He was in the lake on the nagrand terokkar forest border swimming.

I don't think it's elite, but it's rare. I've got the
Blue>Wrist>cloth it gives 56 armor and +30 spirit. Not the best gear for a rogue :P

do any hunters have him as a pet? is he worth telling my hunter friends about and trying to get him tamed?

Just killed goretooth at 76,79
Im a 65 NE Hunter hardly taken any health from me.
I was just doing my quests killing the talbuks and saw a crocolisk, So decied to kill it but i looked up at his icon and it said rare.. I was freaking out went straight to thottbot (Always a handy site lol)It said it drops Cloth, Leather, Mail and plate wrist bands was hoping the mail ones would drop. In the end he droped

Spawned at 1:45am ST on Lightninghoof. I saw him while bombing Halaa, pretty ez to spot from the air he's as big as the Sewer Beast. Easily solo'd as a 70 hunter in Kara gear.

Oh, and I would not recommend taming this pet. even 10g for the BoE loot makes him worth killing. Crocks tank well, but there are way better pets out there. If you absolutely must have a crock get the sewer beast. At least then you arent giving up on decent lewtz.

I killed him in Sunspring Lake near where Watoosun spawns. Don't know if that's where he always is, but thought I'd let you know. Got Crocolisk Bracers of the Bandit..nice blue ones.

Just found him today as i was farming some primals, he hits pretty hard, and as i was on low health already i had to pop recklessness, took him down easily.

Got some ok blue bracers off of him. Hits like a train though, so hard. But i downed him at lvl 62. Submitted a screenshot for here, hope it gets posted ^_^
