They are instantly killed by any offensive Dispel effect (Dispel Magic, Purge, Mass Dispel) that is successfully cast on them.

Priests should start casting mass dispel as soon as M'uru creates the void zone on the floor in order to catch the Dark Fiends right when they spawn. Mass Dispel can also be resisted by individual fiends, so it's a good idea to have a priest or shaman "on call" in case of a resist. If a Dark Fiend reaches a player, they deal 2000 shadow damage (non-resistable) to the entire raid.

In phase 2, these mobs will spawn in somewhat random locations and need to be single target dispelled, with the same consequences if not dealt with swiftly. Shamans and priests can use the following macro during phase 2 to help deal with adds:

/targetexact Dark Fiend
/cast Purge
/targetexact Entropius
Of course, Purge is interchangable with Dispel Magic depending on class. This macro can be spammed, as it will do nothing at all if there are no Dark Fiends currently up.
