One of the easier escorts in the game, you'll never have to fight more than two mobs, nor will a wave of quest mobs spawn to attack you at any time. Don't really need to pre clear anything, she'll only agro, in most cases, 1 mob at a time.

However if you have pet/demon and they aggro things she will run all over the place to "help" you kill the aggressors. On the upside this new smarter AI allows you to heal her and she does not "skip" over agression that happens to your character.
My advice, bring a friend, walk behind her, and get the pet in neutral mode (esp if it is a Warp Stalker).

Actually I got three of them on me at the same time. But that was just because I had some bad luck with the patrols. You could walk in front of her to single pull the mobs if you have any ranged attack.

ALso, she takes a small break after each kill, even if you pull, so that gives you some rest time to drink, eat, bandage or whatever.

Very easy quest to solo.

Unlike most escort quests... this one does not spawn mobs.

If the place is camped by other players, you may not have to fight anything but the 2 mobs at the entrance to the area. There were 3 other people around when I did this quest, and they had the entire route cleared in advance and I didn't have to fight anything until the end of the quest.

Very very easy!

If this place is being over farmed and you are lucky with the pats, you can complete this quest without killing a single mob.

As a lvl 64 Fire Mage I did this without breaking a sweat..

I had 2 mobs nearly all the time, but with polymorph it was very easy.
I only had 3 mobs one time, but the NPC roots one and hits another and with the 3rd mob poly'ed it was easy.

Have fun.. and btw, the staff sells best :) should you not need any of the rewards.

There's no way this is a 2-person quest (this new "group" quest classification isn't working for me). She stands and waits for you to get ready before leaving the building. She walks along a path through an area that's usually farmed and mostly clear of mobs anyway. After each battle, she waits a little for you to be ready. Got to be the easiest escort quest in the game -- not even any scripted mob spawns!

Though I was annoyed at her tendency to cast roots and moonfire on nearby mobs that were attacking her. A couple times she aggroed two and I tried to put one in a frost trap, she instantly moonfired it and broke my trap. Grr.

easy peasy quest! nothing that should be hard for anny class or level over 62. did it on my 61(fullepic) rouge used all my CC and its a cake quest.

I soloed this as a lvl 64 shaman, it's really easy. You have to fight 2 lvl 63-64 mobs at the same time during the "hardest" part.

This is a VERY different quest these days than it was when BC first opened up and the place was being camped like crazy. Now, with the density of mobs and a 'normal' number of players around, it's damned hard to get very far down the path without getting mugged by 3, 4, or often more mobs that just happen to be standing close enough to aggro as she walks by -- not patrols -- just folks who are stationed close enough to be a problem.

The trick is definitely to sit back and follow her at a short distance, letting only the stuff she aggros be your problem. She will aggro a couple triplets here and there, but they're manageable. What will kill her and you is trying to run ahead and clear the path -- she won't help, and she'll pull aggro you didn't see while you're already in another fight.

this is very easy for me a priest, and possibly rogues too with distract.

All you need to do is simply mind soothe nearby mobs before she walks near them. You should not agro any mobs at all, besides the inevitable patrols on the roads. I just had to kill a couple of mobs. Easy quest.

Sometimes when one of them aggros, and she fights near a group, remember to keep them all mind soothed while fighting, if not more aggro will come.

This has become even more difficult, for reasons other than Doyce stated above...

Patch 2.2 came with the patch note "Firewing Warlocks are now less likely to engage in melee combat." This causes a couple problems.

1) You can no longer pull them seperately as a melee class, since they will cast instead of run to you. Instead, you have to run to them, and since they are 90% of the time in pairs, you will have to fight two of them.

2) If Isla encounters a patrol, but only takes a couple hits from it, and she also happens to agro a Warlock at the same time, the Shadowbolt from the Warlock will cause her to agro on it, thus agroing that Warlocks teamate. Now she has 2 mobs on her, and if either of the Warlocks runs, you can easily have 3-4 mobs to fight at the same time.

Basically I can only suggest you actually do this with one other person if possible.

After 2.3, this seems quite difficult to solo, as she pulls all the warlocks in the middle (or else I had very bad luck). Bring a friend.

CLEAR THE CAMP before you do this quest.
If you don't, she'll end up pulling about 5 mobs about halfway to the exit, she pulls one warlock, then the other, then 3 of the ones in the middle and dies.

If you think she is the lamest druid you've ever seen - you are probably right.
She does Moonfire, Wrath and Entangling Roots. Low damage and she's a complete squishy.

Solo'd with a 65 protection paladin, but the warlocks were true pain. She can aggro as many as 4 of them at the same time, and sometimes she considers the fight done and continues walking, while you are still sweating over the casters. To make things even more amusing, she disappeared just before I was to be done (2 Broodwarders left), so I had to start all over again.
As a tip, if you fight more than 2 mobs, let her play with one - warlock preferably. She will root him occasionally, so he won't run away. Be ready to heal her though.
Another tip, if you see that she will bump into patrol and warlocks, run ahead and aggro only one of those. She will help you, and then run back to her former destination (as other escorts), but you might fight a few less mobs.

If an opposite faction takes this quest before you do, be prepared to wait at least 10 minutes (And counting) before she respawns in the cage.

We did it once, my wife got credit, I didn't. SCREW THIS.

I got far soloing it, until a pat and 2 mobs aggroed us at a cross roads. She doesnt stop walking if a mob hits you, only if a mob hits her. Not a "very easy" quest.

easily soloable as priest. just throw out quite alot of mind sooth on all mobs, and keep them soothed. didn't have to engage a single fight.

hardest part was to get the two guards guarding the cage, not the escort itself.

The most trouble was springing the npc out of the cage. 2 mobs. The entire escort it was pretty much 1 on 1. Its also great that the npc fights. Easy quest.

I tried 3 times to escort her out as a 66 lock - i could always clear but she kept getting killed. Even after clearing - come back same mobs

First an easy single, then 3 pairs of two locks no time between. Gave up - alli ganking didn't help

Easily soloable for me as a 65 Warrior. You have to kill less than 6 mobs on your way, and you only have to escort her to just outside the Firewing Point.

The only problem I ran into as a prot paladin, was the Bloodwarders. Their Shocks hit you for around 600, even with aura on. But the night elf is suprisingly effective in taking the mobs out, and as you can also heal her.

The fight shouldnt be THAT hard. Im sure that you need a fair bit of luck getting out, but aslong as no two patrols run into you at the same time, you'll be just fine.

A group is absolutely not a necessity.

Pain in the backside if you have no healing spells, and even with first aid it's annoying.

If you do nothing, she'll aggro the nearby warlocks and MELEE them, so she always pulls all nearby warlocks. Plus, her abilities make it really hard to get the aggro off of her, so she mostly soaks like 3 shadow bolts and then dies.

If you try to clear the path in front of her, she'll happily walk past you and will pull extra mobs further down the path.

This NPC has a special place in hell.

I came here from the Cenarion Expedition on a diplomatic mission, but as you can see, they weren't very friendly. If you help me get to safety, I can assure you that you will be handsomely rewarded!
