Move to 62,61 before you head south to 58,70. heading directly from wildhammer keep will result in a death at the hands of the blood elf legions at Eclipse Point.

If you don't have a flying mount and you are aligned with the scryer's, simply fly to the scryer's area and then go around the mountain. If you aren't aligned with the scryer's, just ride to their small camp "sanctum of the stars" and then go around to the east then south.

This is the same alter used in making shadowcloth.

For those dont have flymounts, if u die on ur way to the Altar, just ghost walk to the NPC, u ALSO can hand in the quest and get the three following quests.

If you want to know the location of this mob and do not have an addon that shows co-ordinates, head to the top of the page where it says "End: Ancient Shadowmoon Spirit" and click on the link. It will take you to a map with a dot on it, the dot is where the mob is.

ive just done it at lvl 67 with out dieing
if ur a druid or rogue just stealth it :D

58,70 confirmed. TIP: What I found is that u can talk to the ancient shadowmoon spirit when ur dead. So if you dont want to go through the mobs and all that, you can talk to him as a ghost, get the quest xp, and get the other quests that he offers and such

You don't need to be wearing them to see the Ancient Spirit. I was able to see him just fine with my helmet on.

And I'm glad that you keep the specs. They look weird, just the thing for a non-Engineer who wants to look like one!

ok guys, no way is this a 2 man quest, as a rogue, drop down, stealth, throw a distract 3 will ride away..cheap shot backstab,kill..he is less then 30% before other riders come back, vanish, loot done.

Teron Gorefiend - Lore and Legend

Zorus the Judicator at Wildhammer Stronghold in Shadowmoon Valley wants you to find the Ancient Shadowmoon Spirit.

If you lose your Spectrecles, Zorus the Judicator can make you a new pair.

Descrizione

Stories abound about the life of Teron Gorefiend, but most are just that - stories. We do not know what happened to Gorefiend after he returned to Draenor.

The only thing we are certain of is that he has already died once.

I have heard the scouts here speaking of an ancient orc spirit that resides at the Altar of Shadows, far to the east, across the Netherwing Fields and through Netherwing Pass. Take the Spectrecles and track this orc down. He will surely have more information on Gorefiend.
