I found that staying back far on this guy and moving in more than on direction is required to avoid the difficult aoe exploding green bombs. up+right, down+left. etc.

Ive found that with the Epic Flight Form now given to us druids, this is cake... just don't go in combat, and you can take those hits all day. Just shape shift back in, and your good.

The best way to do this race is to just stay farther back from him. The aoe bombs will explode in front of you most of the time, giving you plenty of room to maneuver around them. Did it on my 2nd try.

Stay underneath him, and he won't hit you with a single bomb, and when he flies low strafe to the sides, managed at my first attempt.

A Parachute cloak is HIGHLY recommended for these quests, the engineering one is perfect since it only has 30 seconds cooldown, and will save your butt, but most likely your gold.

the only thing you need to do, is wear your cloak, and move the icon to a hotkey, take will help you react faster when you are falling, rather than clicking on the icon in your inventory.

I found staying above him was the best strategy. Easy to outmaneuver the aoe bombs. Need to watch out for the skybreakers though

treat him like a flax cannon, just move up, down, side to side, circles, faster, slower, etc. He'll fire at where you should be, so if you keep moving he'll miss.

I tried and failed do to almost dieing to the random flying mobs. He kep flying through them, so I had 3 shooting at me the entire race, finally had to cut and run to not die and lost.

Ok, so I stayed directly above him, a bit up and kept him in view below me right around my Drake's tail and I was able to avoid all those damn green things no problem. after that, just follow him and back to base. Done.

This one was tougher: the green fireballs Trope casts come 2 at a time, and they don't seem to have to even hit you. I got knocked off my mount 1 times with a fireball not even close!

Didn't die despite 5 failures, finally managed to duck and weave. Helped to turn my view so my character wasn't visible at all (viewpoint in front of the character), made it easier to duck fireballs. also stay above him, makes it easier.

By the way, you don't need speed for these (so far). Get rid of any riding crops, etc. They aren't fast, just agile. You'll find yourself overrunning them, getting too close, and that's dangerous. So take your time, keep distance between you and them.
