There are four summoning stones. (see screenshot posted by norrec - thank you for that) They are positioned on basically the four corners of the enclosure the Pit Commander stands in at the base of the stairs going up to the Dark portal.

I would assume the stones will disappear when the festival ends.

Glacial Templar is immune to frost damage!
One of the stones is at 84.2 47 in Hellfire Peninsula.

Just walk up and touch it. A white crystallized giant will spawn and you have to kill it. It's extremely weak and easy to kill. When I first summoned it, it scared me haha

be very carefull if you don't have a flying mount, the nearby demons (which are 70 elites that hit very hard) are VERY close to the twilight camps.

This quest became available to me at 64. I was able to solo it on my hunter despite quest and templar being orange.

I did this quest easily at 64, it's the other Frostwhatevers around that are a pain, watch out for them

Confirmed: This is available at 64, but not available at 63 contrary to the description

Added: He is Level 67 non-elite, and easily soloed as a 64 feral druid. Very easy for an orange quest.

At 64 it rewards 94s, 10 Blossoms, 11650xp

I was offered this q at lvl 66. Giant is not elite and no trouble at all to deal with. Just make sure you clear a few of the surrounding mobs first - seemed to me that the casters wandering around near the crystals were actually more trouble than the giant!

Just fly to the Dark Portal's Flight path, and hop down the eastern side off of it. I'll put you right next to the ice crystal that summons the Glacial Templar, and will help you avoid any elite demons patrolling the area. Then you can just jump up where you came off of and run back to your flight master. Works for either Horde or Alliance.

The Ice Stones are located just down the stairs and to the left. I found one at 86, 53.

It also should be said that this quest is level dependent... my lvl46 paladin did not fight a Glacial Templar, and did not go to the Dark Portal (!). I fought a Chillwind Lt. off the coast of Stranglethorn. Less xp, but it scales to you, which is nice.

This one wasn't difficult at all to solo as a 64 hunter.

If you fly to the Dark Portal, go North off the side and then west. You should see the blue fires and ice stones there. There's a stone almost right beside the stairs, so just kill a couple of the mobs and summon the giant. Quite easy. :)

We must act to preserve the balance! Time is against us.

In order to ensure Ahune's success, the cult has established a base near the Dark Portal itself in Draenor. They use ice stones to coordinate the frost lord's arrival. Much as I am loath to do this, the spirits will understand - you must summon one of this Ahune's templar protectors and destroy it. Perhaps this forestalling action will be enough...
