I lost the fight with the deamon, and i abandoned the quest, but i go to talk with that guy again to begin the quest, and i cant, Why? what i do now?

I have the same problem. Lost the fight with the demon. Should have read the quest log better where it said Elite,... :( (or so they say it did)
I asked a GM, the only option is to join a other warlock that is doing the quest. But you cant share the quest from the beginning.
I think you can only join the last part, so you not only have to find a other warlock that is doing the quest and wants your presence, it has to be one that is going the same way you want to go i think. That is Shadow or Fire.

Still looking for a nice warlock on my realm. :(

The lady in the duskwallow (?) marsh has again a yellow (how do you call it, sorry, im not english speeking) above her head. I CAN retry, even afther i abandoned the quest. Didnt try it jet, i go in with re-enforcements(?) to be sure.

If it works i keep you posted.

A while back, I got this and took the Infernal Orb part (thinking I was going to be Destro from 40 on.) However, I went away from my Warlock until TBC came out. Then, since it was going to be 30 levels rather than 20, I decided on staying Affliction. Is it possible for me to get the Shadow Orb now? I haven't completed the quest, but I think I left off after I got the Shard of the Infernal.

i have started the quest and i can't find the person in the barrens oh and if anyone on undermine needs to restart the quest i'll gladly share it with them and then they can do it with me and my 65 friend but she might be higher or quit the game before anyone asks. )=

God you people are idiots.....READ THE QUEST DESCRIPTION! It tells you plainly where all the NPC's you need to talk to are located.

HOLY SH!T ppl! Ok i got to the last quest and died (I was thinking way too much) So now Im trying to regain the this series of quests. What so I need to do? I have read all of thee above and nothing works. No (?) or (!) on NPC who was previously invoved in any of the series of quest. I have even tried to restart the quest from a diff starting point (IF warlock guide in stead of SW warlock guide). Please help. (inthe mean time iwill tag alone with another WL is see if i can complete it that way)

I have abandoned this quest twice. Spent 5 hours and still not done .

WHO, WHO, WHO, do I talk to to start this whole quest over again?

I got quest, then orb, got kiled by demon, then abandoned , 2 weeks later I was sent back to Tabitha for another quest, and she also was ready to clense orb even though I had abandoned quest, I killed demon, said orb was clean but no orb in my back pack any more. went back to Desolace, killed 15 summoners and no new orb would drop, Menara would not talk to me , Talked to GM, said to find original quest giver. You guys said original quest giver is Warlock Trainer in Stormwind. Went back, he will not talk to me.

Someone please, please , please just tell me WHO will talk to me and give me this quest again. Who is it and where are they located .

I guess the lesson to be learned here is "don't die on this quest."

it was easy for me i had a 37 lock demon specd and just dotted the demon and healed pet and wanded the guy and it was fairly quickly got him the first try good luck

This quest is available at four NPCs after you reached level 35.

For Alliance:
- Briarthorn in Ironforge
- Demisette Cloyce in Stormwind City

For Horde:
- Zevrost in Orgrimmar
- Kaal Soulreaper in Undercity

If you haven't spoken to her before, then let me tell you, I don't think I've ever met another expert in the creation of items--orbs specifically--that can inprison even a demon to serve our will so easily.

If you're interested, she's in Strahad's tower above Ratchet in the Barrens.
