the tree that start that quest is located in( 42,76)
make sure u grab the other similar quest at (35,28)

Denelan plants the seeds from the strange fruit into the planter next to him. After a little bit of time 3 boglings rise out of the soil. If you kill them they will each give you "Bogling root" which will increase your damage by 1 for 10 minutes.

I'm not sure if anything triggers being able to get the glowing fruit quest - because the first time I right-clicked it, I didn't get the quest.

After I killed ursal and went by the tree, I got the quest. Figured that I better turn it in to him as someone posted on the Shimmering Fronds quest that you need to do most of his quests. I haven't taken the seed to Darnassus yet so don't know.

And yes 3 lvl 5 boglings jump out when he plants the seeds.

I was able to pick up the quest as a lvl 9 Druid even though I haven't completed the tumor quest.

Yea three lvl 5 boglings come out of the soil but they're really easy to kill.I finished this quest on a lvl 8 druid.

This quest was easy the plant is in the bottom right(south-west)corner of the map hope this helps

(1) You got to have the other quests that Denalan gives you and finish that quest first!
(2) Then go back to the tree and get the fruit!
(3) If you already have the quest and you dont get the fruit, then drop the quest and pick on the tree again, then you get the quest again AND THE FRUIT:)

the boglings are very easy to kill, there are 4 lvl 5s, did this quest solo as a lvl 8 hunter

one close to the Glades and one by the ursal hangout place ...

The fruit is on a glowing tree with a ring of white-pink light. The tree itself is in Gnarlpine Hold south of The Pools of Arthilerien.

It's actually at 43, 76 :) You can't miss the large pink glowing plant though, heh.

I think you have to complete the Timberling seed quest or the Timberling sprout quest, or perhaps both. Then go back and examine the glowing tree again.

I completed both Timberling quests at the same time, so I couldn't tell you if it was only one or the other. But, I did go to the tree and examine right before AND right after I completed the quests.

Not sure if this quest is race sensitive, I'm a NE Druid.

i've tried this as a lvl 7 druid i've got the quest but i can't achieve the fruit :/ am i doing something wrong? :s i tried both, Fronded Plant and Fruited Plant... got nothing

Loc 65,101 42,75 in Gnarlpine south of the pools. When you turn this in, he plants it right away and 3 small lvl 5 creatures spawn and attack you. Easy kills for lvl 9 druid.

that 1 in 43,76 was the glimming fruit another plant at 28,34 or sth gave me the q the shinig fruit o.O
can that be ....

I can't get the fruit either
I've done those 2 quests, and I traveled all the way to gnarlpine hold, right clicked the glowing tree but nothing happened.
can anyone please help

If you are unable to click on the fruit, make sure you are not in shapeshift form; I was unable to do this as a druid until I was no longer shapeshifted.

It's interesting that he says, "Intriguing... this fruit is exotic. Perhaps its seeds were brought here from far off. Perhaps even as far as Azeroth!" It seems this quest text is still a relic from when the continent of the Eastern Kingdoms was called "Azeroth" before "Azeroth" became the name for the whole planet.

For anyone who is farming these for the Bogling Root, you only need to complete Timberling Seeds to get the glowing fruit.

HOW TO FARM BOGLING ROOTS FOR THE 'FURY OF THE BOGLING BUFF' (+1 DAMAGE FOR 10 MINUTES):

Step 1: Create new Night Elf character and complete quests in the Shadowglen starting area until you reach level 4.
Step 2: As soon as you hit level 4, talk to Denalan in Dolanaar at /way 60.8, 68.4 (TomTom addon) and accept the quest Timberling Seeds. Note that Wowhead recommends you be level 7 for this quest (even though you can accept it at level 4), so if it's too difficult for you, get someone to help you or level up more.
Step 3: After you complete Timberling Seeds, Denalan will give you the follow up quest, Rellian Greenspyre. For the quest, meet him in Darnassus at /way 38.6 21.8 and turn in the quest.
Step 4: As soon as you turn in the quest, The Glowing Fruit quest will become available. Head to /way 42.6 76.1 and talk to the Strange Fruited Plant to accept the quest.
Step 5: Go back to Denalan at /way 60.8 68.4 and turn it in. Denalan will plant the seeds in the box next to him and three Boglings will spawn in the box. Kill the Boglings and they will each drop one Bogling Root (for a total of 3) which increases your physical damage by 1 for 10 minutes.
Step 6: Rinse and repeat.

Notes:
1. The quest is not repeatable, so you must create a new character each time.
2. The buff does not persist through death.
3. The Bogling Roots are not BOP, so they can be traded or sold on the auction house.
