Bloodcurse Isle is south and a little east of Wyrmscar Island. Pretty straight forward. Just fight your way to the top.

When you get to the top of the hill, after clearing all the naga's, you'll attack the statue. You will get two spawns, a Bloodcurse Naga (caster) and the named, Atoph the Bloodcursed. So, be prepared for two spawns.

Interesting fact: You can actually attack the statue over and over, forcing him to spawn each time. I had 5 Atoph corpses before I got bored.

If you refresh the buff from Captain Edward Hanes before you end the *previous* quest the extra swim speed should help you get to Bloodcurse Isle and back a bit faster.
Once you are on *this* quest he will no longer buff you.

Did this as a level 16 Paladin. Before I handed in the pre-requisite, I got the buff again from the Captain. I swam over there, fought my way up, cleared the Nagas and burned the wheel. Made sure there was no other mobs and took out the leader. I had enough time to jump off from the island, land in the water and swim back. There was no way I was going to fight my way back down.

As a lvl 20 draenei shaman I was able to go up the ramp in bout 4 minutes, killing all mobs, using a very mana intensive technique of bolting and earth shocking casts. Even without rebuffing the water breathing thingie from the Cap'n, I had bout 9 minutes left of it when I finished the quest.

PS: Ghost Wolf speed stacks with the buff speed in the water.

The start of the path leading up to the top is at 82,48, there's an archway here. (north side of the island)

you know what i really hate about this place, is that when your attacking one, one spawns behind you, and one far from the one your attacking both slowly come near you, and all of a sudden you end up having to fight 3 at a time....god this is bs sometimes..

Was very easy as a lvl 19 Warrior.

Hopefully you got the water swim/breathing buff before you turned in the previous part of this chain. Not needed but it helps with the swimming ^^
From the captain, go directly SSE and the archway will be at 83, 49.
Fight your way up (these are all lvl 15-17's) and right click on the alter.

A lvl 19 will come out, kill him and you're done. He doesn't drop anything special. Not even a fair amount of money lol.

As a level 20 hunter with that speed/breathe buff, I was in and out of this quest within 15 minutes (Perhaps about 10 minutes?) Really quite simple, everything except the boss was green to me ^_^

He didn't have any loot for me, period. He didn't have that sparkly thing or anything for me to even try to loot. Lame.

83,48 Archway starts the path up the mountain have to battle a few lv 15-16 Nagas to get to the top about 12-18 or so, when you get to the top statue is right there located at 86,54. Right click it to attack and Atoph the Bloocursed should rush up the hill yelling "Who dares defile the statue of our beloved?" he is very easy to kill. Once he is down nothing else is required turn quest back into Captain Edward Hanes on Wyrmscar Island 79,22.

Just did this quest with a 17 shammy. cake quest. looked it up on thottbot and got most of the better ideas on it. after that the whole chain was just 10 minutes of swimming and fighting. lol

Not much of a reward for an end of chain quest but a decent amount of easy experience fighting your way up to the statue and back.

I did this solo. As a 20 mage. I bubbled myself and ran for dear life up until the top by the statue, where I died. I rezed and no agro from anywhere. I was able to destroy the statue and flee like the coward I am. = ) lol.

Easily soloed as a 16 warrior, just ran up the hill and managed to avoud almost half the mob by hugging the cliffside. Had no problems with Atoph, i even fought him twice more for the free xp :D

this was easy i soloed it as a lvl 15 prot spec pally
came up to him judge seal of crusader use seal of rightoueness then when im about dead bubble use holy light took him out also use one crystal of vatility and one pot lol

kk found the captain at 79,22 on the big island to the north east. for all those people that dont hand quests in right away

Bit of clever pathfinding reduced this quest to two sorc kills. Killed the boss 9 times out of boredom, and made corpses into a neat little grid, but then they started vanishing :(

When I get to the top all I see is a big fire. When I click on it , it says requires a bundle of dragon bones...

Did it as a 16 priest. Not too hard. Only had to shield once as I had a health potion on me. Just keep Smiting hiss a$$.

Go south south east of the captain you will find Bloodcurse Isle which is appropriately loaded with Bloodcursed Naga. Follow the path which is started with a free standing portal to the top of the mountain attack the silver and gold giant Statue of Queen Azshara whitch is defended by Atoph the Bloodcursed, Level 19 Humanoid Naga ("Who dares defile the statue of our beloved?"). KIll atoph and complete the quest. Return to Captain Edward Hines to get your reward. "This land still bears the scars of the past. I wonder if they will ever heal." "You did it! Hundreds of souls are grateful for all that you have done. Allow me to make an offering . . ."

Rewards
You will receive: Wheel of the Lost Hope BWPU off hand shield 395 armor 7 block +3 stamina
experience at level 50 is 150 points Reputation with Stormwind increased by 25.

location: 85,54 kill mobs up winding path to boss in pavalion.
Naga leading up to temple are lvl 15s, boss is level 19

Did this as lvl 18 Shaman with another lvl 18 shaman.

Captain Edward Hanes on Wyrmscar Island wants you to destroy the Statue of Queen Azshara and kill Atoph the Bloodcursed.

Descrizione

To the south you will find Bloodcurse Isle. Atop the island you will find a shrine dedicated to the beloved queen of the naga, Azshara. Destroy the statue - burn it in effigy! This will surely draw the ire of Atoph, the Bloodcursed leader.

Slay Atoph and return to me!
