ive done every quest available in blood and azurewatch, and ive heard that you ALSO need to do all starting quests, aswell... im working towards this tabard with my 62 warrior, and i got bored of trying after killing 50 lvl 2 moths.

Confirmed. Could not get this item/quest with non-Draeni. Took a level one to Azuremyst Isle, did all quests. At Level 19, despite being Revered with Exodar and having completed EVERY other quest. The vindicator directs me to talk to Admetius, but Admetius does not have a quest.

So, can one of you people that claim to have it on a non-Draeni submit a screenshot? Cause I'm thinking you are lying.

The quest starts at the Vindicator's rest, at about 30,46. Speak to Demolitionist Legoso, and you should get set off onto an escort type quest, where you have to head up to the Vector Coil with him, blow up a few things (!) and kill a demon named Sironas.

After all this is done, you will be instructed to return back to Blood Watch, where you will speak with Exarch Admetius. When this part of the quest is complete, after exiting the small building, there should be quite a parade outside waiting for you, and you will have the opportunity to speak to the Prophet Velen, who will issue you with the tabard, and a choice between a melee and caster ring.

I tried to do this quest chain last night on my Dwarven priest. There are so many conflicting walk throughs on this. I can't seem to get any quest from Demolitinist Legoso, but I have done the entire sunhawk elf chain from Blood Watch. Prophet Velen has nothing more for me. Unless someone knows for sure where this starts, it is my guess that this is Draenei only.

I cannot get the following quests:

The Unwritten Prophecy - Prophet Velen
What We Know... (Elite) - Vindicator Aesom
Ending Their World (Elite) - Demolitionist Legoso

Aesom directs me to Exarch Admetius, who merely introduces himself. Admetius gives the quests Vindicator's Rest, which I've done, What Argus Means to Me, which I've done, and What We Don't Know... (Elite), which has the pre-requisite of What We Know... However, if What We Know shared a quest ID with another quest I've done, I'd think I could get What We Don't Know.

There are a lot of non-draenei complaining about not being able to do the last part of this quest, but I think I've figured out why.

I've got one draenei hunter, who got the quest without problems (accepted the escort part by accident and got trashed the first time). A friend of mine, who wanted the tabard, and was leveling a draenei as well, couldn't figure out how to get it - we seached thott and alla without result - the npc just didn't give out this quest.
I have a draenei shaman as well - and she couldn't pick up this quest either. We thought this odd.

However, as we sat on ventrilo, talking, my friend suddenly exclaimed; "Woot, revered with Exodar!"
And I thought... 'What if rep has something to do with it?'
So I said as much, and upon returning to Blood Watch, she could pick up the quest disguising her as a Blood Elf just fine.

In conclusion, you need to be REVERD WITH EXODAR to pick up the three last quests in this chain.

I am exalted with The Exodar and have done every quest I can find on Bloodmyst. I am having no luck at all with getting the quest for the tabard.

Don't waste your time grinding rep just for this tabard, my shaman has it and she's only honored. Sorry, can't remember how I got it lol, it's been a while. Far as I remember I just leveled her, did all the quests I saw from start and ended up with it somehow /shrug

Ending Their World (Elite) - Demolitionist Legoso is the prequest for this one. when you complete and go back to Bloodmyst outpost place, you have an audience with Prophet Velen waiting for you. He is just outside after you turn in the quest, however, I am beginning to wonder if that is the prequest because I have noticed that when you come back after killing Matis the Cruel (for a quest named that too), it is Vindicator Kuros that calls the prophet. So perhaps it is that quest that you so happen to need as well to complete the quests. Also, if you are caught up in deciding on an item from Ending their world and miss talking to the prophet, head back to Exodar and talk to him there to get the quest

I'm so confused on how to get the tabard. I've got a lvl 29 Draenei that is honored with exodor. So do I just walk up to the dude and get the quest or is there a chain I've got to do.

Do none of you notice what is going on? Look around, you need to to the entire draenei quest chain, from first quest to last. The people cheering are everyone that you helped through the game to that point. The quest chain starts at the starting zone, from the very first quest you see as a draenei. I lvld a human mage in the draenei zone, had a lock port me to the start, and successfully recieved the tabard. If you do every quest there, you will get it no matter what. Essentially, take note of everybody that is standing around when someone completes the quest, and do the quests for those NPC's.

Yea so I ported a gnome to exodar and did every quest from 1-19. I ran around everywhere on both of the Islands, did every quest I could find, finally got to revered and still no quest. I would assume that this quest is Draenei only.

Level 22 Drae Hunter

This has nothing to do with non-Drae's trying to get the quest. Sorry.

I soloed this one tonight with some standard pet management. Then ran it again about 10 minutes later with a Shaman who was also Level 22. Each run was completely different in my opinion as far as adds and aggro. I wonder if being solo the first time made a difference? Here's my run through.

My solo run...

First off Legoso is a great tank (20 Elite)...just fight what he fights and ignore the others he'll get to them eventually. Hang back and let him start each fight to get aggro. He never dropped below 1/4 health and like all escorts he regains full health after each fight. Help him finish off whatever he's fighting fast, he can take a beating from at least two at once. All the mobs are 17+ or 18+. Of course being a hunter helped as I was able to have my pet off-tank one if we had to deal with 3.

There are I believe four opportunities where he stops and pauses (setting the two charges and twice on the way up the hill). Take these opportunites to eat, drink, heal pet, bandage. There are a few decent green drops but you'll have time to loot on your way back as the mobs on the path will not have respawned.

On the way to the first stop there was one or two single mobs. He then sets a charge and heads over to a camp of two. Then up the hill to another pair, a couple of single patrols and then a camp of three. He then walks over and sets a second charge with Sironas pulling a power trip off to the left. For me at this moment we had no adds even though he mentions that you should watch his back while he sets the charge.

Then he walks over closer to Sironas, and she gets all pissy and starts to head towards me while Legoso heads to a patrol coming in from the right. Ok fine don't help I say! I sent the pet to tank Sironas and helped deal with the add. Again, assist him always. Pet dies and then we finish her off. Quest complete.

I guess if you are solo but have no crowd control (pet) it might be tough if he doesn't get aggro on Sironas right away.

Now with the Shaman..whew! At the point of setting the second charge the mobs started coming in from far and wide! Before you know it we had 5 to deal with, the Shaman dies and Legoso dies shortly after, followed by my own untimely death.

We ran it again and decide to pull singles towards us before he started to set the second charge. We only had one extra add during the Sironas fight.

So blah blah blah..I know this is longwinded but the escort seemed much easier on my own, in terms of adds and aggro.

I think I figured it out.

After hitting lvl 18 you speak to Vindicator Aesom in Blood Watch for a quest called What We Don't Know.... He sends you to Exarch Admetius who is also in Blood Watch. After you interrogate a prisoner in Blood Elf form you are sent to Vindicator's rest where Demolitionist Legoso will give you Ending Their World.

After you complete Ending Their World you are sent back to the Exarch. Once you leave the building you will see Prophet Velen who will give you the ring and tabard.

I'm not sure if you have to be Revered with Exodar or not. I hit revered Exodar before I hit level 18 so it -might- be a requirement.

(btw soloed the escort quest with my 18 frost spec mage "Quanta" on Uldaman server.

it feels good to be a hero to so many people with the great deeds done i have done. the reward for my great adventures are very nice i love the tabard and the best reward is seeing that crowd ceering and dancing in my honour.
let it be know that Corteaz the paladin of the dreani people has saved his own race and helped them join with the aliance!

non-draenei cannot do this quest, ever... theres a quert from vindicator aesom to talk to exarch admentius which isn't put in the quest log so you cant do it

complaints need to be sent to blizzard for making it impossible for non-draenei to get the tabard of the hand

I, Draenei priest, was revered just before doing this quest at lvl 18. When i returned to Blood Watch my inventory was full so quest failed and when i came back from selling stuff to complete quest he was gone. I flew to exodar and was able to complete there for tabard and ring. Sweet

i thought this quest was great =D i know alot of people just play hardcore.. all about leveling/xp/gear etc and thats fine =) but when i went outside that building at Blood Watch and all those NPCs were lined up cheering and dancing at you... like the injured Nightelf Priestess from Azuremyst who hugs you... the Elekk buy... the Captain from Azuremyst... and they all thank you and stuff, i just thought that was so nice.. makes me know that despite Warcraft being a multi million dollar franchise for Blizzard there is still a "heart" to the game! But anyways, i dont think the Tabard is available for non-Draenei? My human did all the Azuremyst/Bloodmyst questing and never got tabard. Anyways really nice touch with all those NPCs u help... Bloodmyst is a great place to quest btw... loads of questing and great place for Rep grinding i found =D

Some of the pre-quests are Draenei only so this quest and the rewards are only available to Draenei.

If you dont accepts this quest, Velen disappears.

He offers it in the Exodar instead.
