Though there are more spawn points of the idols scattered around Feralfen Village, I found the best place to collect them was south of Feralfen on the stairs leading up to the The Boha'mu Ruins (tall tower on the map).

The idols are tiny, wooden statues that look like falcons, and because their respawn is so fast, you can kill the 4 mobs leading up to the Ruins and pick up all 6 required in very little time, rather than running throughout the village and having to kill loads of mobs.

One idol at the top and one at the bottom of the stairs, it was great - the respawn timer is really fast. Only had to kill a couple of mobs!

The coords and screens are correct.
The respawn rate on the Idols are fast - 30 secs~.

Overall an easy quest. :-)

The lazy mans way of doing it is stand at (44,67) and wait until it respawns every 30 secs and you are done the quest in 3 mins without ever havin to run anywhere.

These are hard to find at first because they are fairly small and blend in well with the ground, but seem to be mostly confined to the three camps that are identified on the map. Just search the area with your mouse to find them.

I found three spawn points in the west camp. I turned around and looked where I had picked up the first one it already respawned, got all 6 in just a couple of minutes. Only had to kill 2 mobs.

Each of the windmills in the water generally have one underneath it and the are not guarded.

I used Jasmine's idea above and went to the windmill at 50, 61 then went W to 49, 61 and back again 3 times. I was done in 2 mins.

I timed the idols to be on an approximated 35 second re-spawn timer. So if you like you can sit by the windmill in the (51,61) area and spawn loot the idol on the east side of it. There's no enemies by it so it's quite easy.

43,61 is the fastest respawn of the idol in the camp. I just killed the near by hunter and his pet and waited a minute per respawn. Look for the idol in front of the bench near the edge of the water.

there are 2 on the stairs... if you kill the guards there it takes a couple on min. to get them.. 1 by each of the stairs of the ruins.

as a rogue you dont need to kill anything, just sap them over and over

Idols respawn very quick. If you are a rogue, there are many boxes in this area you can pick to improve your lockpicking skill.

Exact place of idol is 50.61 behind windmill. Respawning is very fast so when u pick one, in a meanwhile u can kill some bugs for xp. Blessings.

Super easy, just found the first one i could find, killed the mistic and the hunter around it and camped it. Easier if your a NE/Rogue/Druid and can stealth. They respawn after about 20-50sec's.

Wonderful place at 49,61, there's 3 spawns, one by the cage, one in the hut and one by the water. you can just take one, wait a sec, take the next, kill a feralfen, take the next and so on.

the middle camp has 2 and each side that respawn really fast if u go in the right way u can get them both with out bing attacked but the 1 on the west side has a hunter in front of it so wait till he walks away and its all urs

The one ay 48/64 and the one at 49/65 can both be picked up w/o any aggro

Just approcach them from the south, and there will be no problems :-)

I did it as lvl 61, and took me a few mins.

Great advice. I got them quickly at 60. There were no enemies there to aggro me though. They respawn quickly and that helped!

they are pretty much all over the village, also inside some of the tents. the respawn rates on the idols are pretty quick. picked up 3 idols from the exact same spot within 2 1/2 minutes

There is one idol located at 48/64. Stand with your back to the mountains and you can loot without ever getting agro. The idol is on a 45 sec spawn rate, so you can do this quest in under 5 min without ever fighting the Feralfen.

48.64 is the one to go after...confirmed from the other posts! It's REALLY hard to see, depending how you have your screen set up, but once you find it, you can stand right on top of it and never aggro a thing.

My tactic was to approach it from the west; there's a pair of hunters and their pets in the area, but they never wander that far. There'se a 45-60 second respwan time, so just stand there for 5 or 6 minutes and you've got yourself an easy 10k+ in experience!

Ez quest. I was not so lazy as to just stand and wait for one :P i went to 48,65 and thers around 2 idols ther. id take 2, kill sum guys. 40 secs later, take 2, kill guys. good xp and ez! did as a 61 holy pally.

Just stay by the Windmill at 50, 61 and in 6 min u have all 6 idols... there is no argoing at all

As said, they are near the tents/huts ...but if you're playing a dwarf turn on treasure hunting and they're show on the mini map.

Just did this quest with my 61 priest - looks like they added two hunter spawns near the (48,64) idol spawn. The feralfen hunters are lvl 62 with lvl 57 pet spore bats.

I came in from the east side, since there's a hunter spawn on the west now too. I had to kill the one hunter who paths close to the (48,64) idol, but what you do is ignore the pet, who doesn't hit that hard, and kill the hunter ASAP. Then go kill the pet, and take idols again in peace.

Why do people almost always give coordinates so inprecise? What do they have against fractions?

There is a statue at 48.5, 64.7 that can be taken without aggro'ing any. Approach is from the south-east.

I looked around a bit, found some idols. There are some at the top of the biggest tower in that area. I couldn't find anyway but to kill them and then loot. Peace is for girls :P ... Just kill em' :) Good luck~!

You will also find them in the larger huts... i found 1 at ground floor and 2 at top floor

omfg are u kidding me, on all my characters i do this quest with i spend like an hour grinding the mobs so that they will drop the idols never knew that u could just grab them off the floor O_O, i feel like such a dumbass, jsut took me 2 minutes to get all 6 idols

As per Ez said. There is another idol within the tallest hut near this area as well (look for covered entry tunnel). Killed 2 hunters + pets, 1 mystic and collected the 3 idols x 2 (quick respawns on idols).

Pretty good, easy quest. I'm pretty sure that you aren't supposed to kill any mobs, so you keep a good rep. You don't have to kill any if you go to the village and just look around on the outside for the totems/idols. They respawn fast, so just pick two safe ones and run back and forth. You might wait 20 seconds each time. Easy. For any level.

49.61 are correct.
This is soooooooo simple, the idol respawns in about 1 minute, I camped 2 and was done in less than ten minutes, including the run there hehe.

Easy quest. Can stand in water near windmills. The idols are in the water. And will reappear every 60 seconds. Windmills at 47,61 and 50,61. No mobs around either place.

46, 49, is the general vicinity of these items. They look like a statue. ther eare some locked crates nearby.

There is one in the water beside a windmill looking thing on the east side, just a hop from The Lagoon, with a Fen Strider pathing nearby, but not close enough to aggro. No other mobs in sight.

I went to 49.61 and collected the totems there. I think there are 3 totems there and kill mobs as you wait for the 30 second spawn of the totems. Easy quest fer sure.

49,61 was great for me, i was there all of about 5 min, they respawned on top of each other before i could finish killing the closest mob. 1 in eastern hut, 1 right outside hut and one right outside western hut. very easy quest

From what you've told me about your observations at the Boha'mu Ruins, it seems this tribe of Lost Ones has reverted to the worship of animal spirits. Before we can approach them, we must know more of their beliefs.

Return to Feralfen Village and discreetly gather some of their idols so that I may study them. Try to avoid angering them, <name>, as it may hurt our chances of making contact with them.
