Not that there's anything wrong with men who love men, but does anyone else have a hard time telling apart the Males from the Females with this extremely feminine race? I mean geez, I thought the nightelves were bad before, but these bloodelves take the homosexual cake!

I see so many warlocks and paladins in game that it is crazy.

i love the blood elf's racial
this is what its does...

mana tap:
Activate to drain 50 mana from your target and charge yourself with arcane energy for 10 min. This effect stacks up to 3 times. 30 second cooldown. Scales with level.

Arcane Torrent:
Activate to silence all enemies within a AOE 8 yard for 2 seconds. In addition, you gain 10 Energy / 12 Mana for every charge of Mana Tap currently affecting you. Scales with level.

Arcane Affinity:
15 point skill bonus to Enchanting (note, this also raises the cap by 15 at each level of enchanting).

Magic Resistance:
Increase all Resistances by 5.

Anyone got any pictures of blood elves on raptor mounts? I want to see if it's worth doing all the Durotar quests.

Now that the Ghostlands has been exhausted where does the level 22 Blood Elf go next?

The region to the South, the Eastern Plaguelands, is a little strong for such a Blood Elf and there doesn't seem to be a logical progression onto somewhere else.

So, suggestions kindly accepted along with instructions, if you please, on how to get there.

Racial abilities

Mana Tap
Activate to reduce target's mana by (50 + Level) and charge you with arcane energy for 10 min. This effect stacks up to 3 times. 30 yd range - Instant - 30 sec cooldown.

Blood elf priests receive two racial abilities - Consume Magic and Touch of Weakness:

*Consume Magic Dispels one beneficial Magic effect from the caster and gives them 120 to 154 mana. (453 to 488 mana at level 70) - instant cast, two minutes cooldown.
*Touch of Weakness is a buff that the priest can cast upon him or herself. It lasts for ten minutes and has only one charge, and once cast, will cause shadow damage to the melee damage inflicter, and affects that target with a debuff that reduces their damage done by a constant amount. The amount of damage done and damage reduced increases with levels.

I am thinking about leaving FFXI and start playing WoW soon. I have been checking out the races recently and I really like the design of the BE. So I plan on making my 1st character a BE. So, I was just wandering what is the best class for BE out of the 6 available for it? I just want your guys opinion since your vets of the game. So any info or opinions will help, thanks.

I am leaning towards a Mage atm because it seems like they are best suited to be magic users...

ok before you start flaming me please read, i just got burning crusade and being loyal to the horde created a blood elf and i just have to say, why are they with the horde?
i say this because in the opening moie it says nothing about the wanting to destroy the Alliance or kill anything or that matter all they wanna do "is get magic" as a matter of fact in the opening cinematic for blood elves it says that they dont like undead, also they are all bright and happy and they're cities are way too bright and clean for a civilization on the brink of extinction. also whats with the lack of detail on the blood elves face they are all clean and smooth, and on the box and art that blizzard made of blood elf males they had wrinkles and scars, And they all look like women even the males. I am not against the idea of the blood elf i just don't like many aspects of the blood elves if they can make the orcs look as detailed as they do they can make the blood elves look less cartoonish.

I finished all Quests in the Lands of the Bloodelfes and still i need mor rep with Silvermoon City. Does anybody know some npc which will give Reb for Silvermoon City?

Does anyone else find Blood Elves slightly... effeminate? Perhaps a little... metrosexual? I'm just checking to see if anyone else keeps expecting their new BE toon to put on some tangerine lip gloss, a pushup bra, and get down underneath a disco ball. Maybe it's just me.

I`m gonna start The Burning Crusade in a couple of days and I`m sure I`m gonna be a BE lock, but I am not sure what skills should I choose to train. I`m thinking that jewel crafting or alchemy would be good for a BE lock, but then I`m a n00b and I ask for your help.

Sorry for the noobie question....well, I am still somewhat a noob. ;) Anyways, I made a blood elf rogue and I'm wondering what exactly does it mean to 'silence' an enemy with the BE racial trait? Does it mean they can't call for help? Or can't mutter spells? Or...what?

HAHA...I have a funny subject....
It goes like this:
What race will be the best to have girlfriend's-boyfriend's on the other faction.
...Like can a troll be with a night elf...or can a Blood elf be with a Orc?
Please give me your oppinion of a parfect match...and say what gender is the one and witch is the other....

I got BC the day it came out, and created a BE Warlock. I am trying to create a good talent build for instances and raids.

I've seen a couple of threads so far about which is be better, a BE warlock or paladin, but while I haven't tried a BE paladin, I wouldn't recommend blood elf as the race for warlocks. Why? Because lets face it, undead do that way better (especially since they can eat corpses and turn that into mana). Also, warlock mana draining makes mana tap/arcane torrent rather superfluous save as a close-combat silence ability.

But as a mage, a blood elf kinda has it all. At lower levels you have nice starting resistances and the ability to recover mana in combat without a potion, something other mages normally can't do until level 20 and which is a major advantage if you need that one or two more spells to finish off an opponent.

A little higher up mana tap/torrent become somewhat less useful as you get evocation and have more mana to use, but they're still invaluable in a tight situation where you need a bit more mana fast. Not to mention multiple blood elves can do evil things to caster bosses. Also, with the talent which gives mana back for resisted spells, the +5 to all resistances takes on a definite appeal, further allowing a blood elf to recover mana while fighting, as well as stacking with mage armor to protect against what would be otherwise very dangerous ranged attacks.

I won't say mage is the perfect BE class, 'cause that depends on your play style, but I would consider it to be one of the better ones.

What mounts can a Blood Elf have?

For example: I got the racial mount...that hawkstrider, but i also recently got exalted with UC...and got a undead horse.

What others can I have? I would like one of each...at least then have the option to pick and choose what mount i like. I'm just unsuer what ones i can have.

Can i have kodo, wolf, raptor...any other?

Does anyone think that the quest rewards are a little low? Like the item rewards. I did one quest at lvl 16 and I received a lvl 12 item!

I am lvl 10. Where can I get Gun skill. The weapon master wil not teach it. Have not tried the gun seller Havwe not seen any gun trainers in Eversong zone.

i made a blood elf pally and i used all my talent points in protection. i ussually tank or off-tank if a warrior is around. I cast some spells while tanking and i want to know what stats do i need most like stamina, intellect, agility, etc.

I am really concerned about the look of the blood elves and the zone they are in. It looks like "comic book" characters. The rest of WOW has much better graphics. Is there a different or special graphics card that is supposed to give them some "substance"

I want to know which would be better Blood Elf with their silencing and energy gain, or Undead with their WotF... WotF would save my life so many times but still..

i rolled a BE pally and i've done about 10 ABs since hitting my mid 30s and and is it just me or is anyone else getting ported back to the den to rez no matter what nodes are held?

What spell do they get, as the priest racial?
Undead get Touch of Weakness
Dwarves get Fear Ward
Trolls get Shadowguard (i believe)
Humans get that "heal me before I die" weak/instant cast heal for themselves...

i know the others are listed... all classes that can be priests get one... what about the BE's? and for that matter, the Dranai... even thought this is a BE forum, I know.

Just got BC with my fiance, we both rolled pallies to give it a try; starting to realize that two pallies isn't really the way to go. So now I'm trying to figure out what class would pair well with a pally? Was going between hunter and mage. I'm afraid with mage, I'll pull the aggro and get reamed... but the ranged would be nice, plus I could always ice them. So then was thinking hunter, use the pet to pull aggro. Eh... what do you guys think? This is just our alts to mess around with BC; oh, and looking at pvp roles not pve. Thanks for any help, and sorry about the slightly disjointed post... didn't feel like writing a novel, just wanted to get down the facts.
