I suggest to farm Primal Oozes and always let 'em clone if you're after this pattern or the oozeling pet.

Got this pattern drop from Oozes in Un-Goro, southwest corner.

Mine dropped off of a Primal Ooze, but it took a lot of kills to do so. I probably had to take down 50 or 60 of them before I found the pattern on my Hunter. I'm still looking for it on my Druid on another server, to no avail. It does have a very low droprate, unfortunately.

they are not common at all according to the drop rate.

Actually, the rate is probably 0.25-0.5%, mwaning one in 200 or one in 400. Still pretty common per niceness.

I always seem to get leatherworking pattern drops this one is by far the best so far, but I'm an alchemist and have never gotten an alchemy recipe drop. I wonder how much this will go for on the AH?

Found it in a Slime and thought this is one really precious pattern. But apparently it's neither rare nor valuable.
There are always offered 4 at once in the AH so you won't event get 4 gold for it on my server. Sad but true.

Yeah I agree, there are always a few people selling the pattern on my server. Which makes the pattern not extremely profitable, however you can deffinately make about 10gs per pattern. I've been selling mine for 8gs and haven't had a problem selling them yet.

my server, (bleeding hollow), has insanely high AH prices.. so i looked and not one of these were one the AH so i put mine 60g and 80g buyout maby id get lucky... since evryone on my server buys a %^&* load of gold.. someone bought them out lol woot easy 80g and i got them by outrolling my freind by 1 rofl man was he pissed

found the pattern 2 days ago in Un'goro crater.. went on AH the day after and put it on 50 g and 80 g buyout... next day i got 50 g :D

Ive been grinding these primal oozes in the crater, and gained my 54th level from it, and still no sigh of this recipe. It pisses me off that everyone got 2 or 3 of em in 10 minutes, if you come across one cod it to hardattack on magtheroden

I play on Kael'Thas realm, and have NEVER seen a recipe on the AH for devilsaur anything. Also, when I first started going into Un'Goro crater, I ran across an NPC who wanted devilsaur leather...and now I can't find him. Does anyone know who and where he is?

I found a bunch of the Oozes around the Mountain in the center of Un'goro

Thought about selling it, but it's always good to have one more LW recipe.

I just recently startet grinding Ooze in Un'Goro, haven't found on recipe yet tho, but still at it. And while im at it, I'm also grinding devilsaurs which could come in handy also ^^

Well, for the devilsaur gloves recipe it goes for around 40g on my server, and the devilsaur leggings goes for about 45g .. But hey, we got overpriced AH, gotta love it ^^

i been farming these things all day and nothing...but i have killed tons of other things for a lvl up

on my server (spirestone) someone is selling it for 199g so i would love to see it for 1g

i really feel that those of you who have said "oh I got two of these in like ten minutes" are completely full of CRAP... I farmed Un'goro crater for 2 days for this recipe... killed 387 oozes before one finally dropped... I did howerver get 46 devilsaur skins... so by the time I make the guantlets and leggings for my rogue, I can make one more set to sell in the AH so hopefully this time wasn't wasted in vane...

I just went back to Un'Goro crater to finish the Undercity Apothecarium Chains quest (last part of the chain quest called: Melding of Influences) and this recipe dropped from a Gargantuan Ooze - the kind of Ooze you create for the purposes of this quest.

With Classic WoW being about three weeks in now, and my server's average player level being just under level 40 still (un'goro is usually fairly empty, plus layering separates people), I have finished all the quests in the zone and farmed over 120 slimes of all types here in Un'goro with no luck yet on the drop.

The market for these pants are still non-existent on my realm's faction, and I'm quite certain there may only be about one or two people on my server that have even LEARNED the pants pattern at this point, if any.

I wish everyone the greatest of fortune on their hunt for these pants!

(Edit): About a week after I made this post, many many more leatherworkers now have the pattern, and the price of them on the AH fluctuate anywhere between 25 and 150g. The price will continue to fluctuate as more people begin to do Un'goro, and more slimes are killed.

After Killing ooze's in Un'Goro without luck. I decided to call it quits and head to Nergal to see if "Pattern: Devilsaur Gauntlets" spawned since I read it was timed based. The Gauntlets recipe wasn't there, but "Pattern: Devilsaur Leggings" was...
UPDATE: Just got "Pattern: Devilsaur Gauntlets" from Nergal as well...So he does sell both Leather working recipes.
