If you're a member of the Alliance, especially a Night Elf, I would highly recommend you to save 6 of these Elixirs (and 2 of Elixir of Minor Defense) for the quest Elixirs for the Bladeleafs (turns grey at 14). The quest begins and ends in Teldrassil and unlocks at Alchemy level 20, and it grants a solid 700 points of experience, a couple of silver coins as well as some herbs for your troubles. The +100 reputation towards Darnassus is also a solid chunk considering the ease of completion.

If you're not a Night Elf, it's still worth it to run here on your way to Darkshore, as there are a few other easy sources of XP/rep for you to complete along the way. On your way to Dolanaar, purchase 7x Small Spider Leg for the quest Recipe of the Kaldorei (requires Cooking 1) and obtain Recipe: Kaldorei Spider Kabob. This recipe can only be obtained through this quest, and it usually sells for a decent price in the Auction House. Along the way you could make a detour to The Oracle Glade and pick up The Shimmering Frond which is turned in just outside of Dolanaar. The frond quest gives you 5x Sprouted Frond as a reward, and they're particularly handy for questing in Darkshore, because they don't share a cooldown with healing potions (and interestingly enough, the heal uses the same exact spell ID as Lesser Heal, which means it also scales with healing, but that's a whole other subject altogether!). After fetching the frond, it's a good idea to head south for The Glowing Fruit, as it takes you to the same exact NPC and isn't a huge detour. The quest only grants XP/reputation, though.

Elixir of Lion's Strength is a very potent consumable for low level characters. +4 Strength equates to +8 Melee Attack Power for most classes (+4 MAP for Shamans, Rogues and Hunters). At level 1, the base Strength values vary from 15 (Gnome) to 28 (Tauren), meaning a level 1 Gnome could receive a whopping 26-27% Strength increase, and a Tauren would still boast a respectable ~14% Strength increase (numbers derived from Wowhead's Gear Planner). The buff is cheap and easy to acquire early on, and it does increase your DPS by a fairly notable margin at low levels for 60 minutes.

This potion is learned at Alchemy level 1 as you choose the skill. The Earthroot required for this recipe can only be picked at Herbalism level 15, though, meaning only Taurens with their racial ability Cultivation have the privilege of being able to create these as soon as they encounter the herbs in the wild.
