As an enhancement shaman, I see this as a much better belt for us than Girdle of the Prowler.

Those sockets and be filled with some nice goodies that offset the loss of hit rating. Plus... crit rating = /drool.(I'm not specced into resto for the hit percentage, I went for elemental devastation instead ... and I'm not regretting it either. :) )

Although it looks like a hunteritem at first, this girdle isn't that good for hunters (I'm a hunter myself).

Reason is that without the huge amount of MP5 it could have a LOT more of a damage-stat like agi, ap, crit or hit for its itemlevel. MP5 seems to be very expensive on items so that a piece of equip with some MP5 lacks a significant amount of other stats compared to one that doesn't.

Compare to:
Girdle of the Prowler has solid stats and is much easier to get
Belt of the Black Eagle is BoE with very good stats
