'There and back again' is the title of the book Bilbo starts and Frodo continues, then gives to Samwise at the end of the story.

fun quest as well.

this quest is the opener for the daily ram racing quests, it being repeatable forever is a bug that has been hotfixed and is now repeatable on a12 hours delay (not daily quest).

You don't have to talk to the guys when picking up or delivering, you just ride by them and they give you credit. Flynn is near the Inn, and has a ^ over his head. go near him and you'll get your keg. Then ride back to where you got the quest from. And repeat.

You can complete this with your normal mount too, don't know if it's intended or not. Accidentally clicked some beer in my inventory instead of the reins and got dismounted, still could pick up and return the kegs and thus complete the quest without the ram.

Best route is:
Beer Tents -> Apple Barrel at crossroad ->Flynn at Karanos -> Keep riding past him about 20 feet to an apple barrel near a flag. -> Apple Barrel at crossroad -> Beer Tents

Doing this you should be able to stay at a gallop and complete at least 9 runs for 27 tickets.. if you are perfect you might be able to do 10 runs for 30 tickets, but I usually hit some lag (or have to wait for an apple barrel to proc).

This post is now outdated, with the latest Brewfest event they added a new apple bucket and you may now go full gallop the entire way without hitting the first or last apple bucket to maximize efficiency.

On Alliance side I can max out at 51 tickets, 17 trips.

Basically I start out as far away from the quest giver as I can while facing the direction I'm going to go with the Ram Racing Reins bound to a key so I can spam it easily while moving with my mouse for direction. I spam the Ram Racing Reins to keep a gallop all the way to the apple barrel by the bridge (it will reset without you having to stop) and over the small hill and then right as I go over the hill I stop pressing my key binding. When I reach the tiny stone wall on the ground by the road I turn around (he throws the keg even if I don't go all the way to him). When I reach the hill again on my way back I will begin to canter automatically since I haven't been spamming my keybinding. I canter all the way back to the apple barrel by the bridge, usually pressing the key binding for the Ram Racing Reins periodically to slowly swap between gallop and canter, just enough not to get exhausted. When I reach the apple barrel I start spamming my Ram Racing Reins again to gallop all the way back and repeat.

apple barrel by bridge -> over hill (stop using reins) -> turn around at stone wall -> over hill (begins canter) -> apple barrel by bridge -> turn in turn around and repeat

It took a while to get used to, but this is faster than galloping between all the apple barrels. I used my bank alts to practice with. Before I reached around 30 tickets galloping the entire way, but this way it is possible to get around 50. Another good trick to shave a tad more time off of the trips is that when you are about to turn around; adjust the camera so you can see behind your character with your left mouse button, then turn around suddenly by clicking your right mouse button behind you. This should make you do a complete 180 without missing a step or wasting time moving in a half-circle. Although I cannot prove it, seems to me that the Riding Crop works on the Brewfest mount too.

u can repeat this quest, but only once every day. every time u come back with a barrel of beer u get 3 tickets

I wonder how many people know that 30-50 yards along the path behind Firebrew is a second crate of apples you can swing your ram by. Combined with the crate at the halfway point, you can keep your ram going at full gallop (no cantering or trotting!) and get 10 or more kegs easy.

And you get three tickets per keg delivered.

This is pretty easy. Once you learn how to ride the ram with the reigns you get this quest available. The best way to do this is to be careful not to overwork your ram. Halfway down the path is a fruit basket looking thing that will refresh your ram's endurance so you can go faster for a while longer. You can still fatigue him though if you whip way too much in between getting the fruit. This is repeatable once you finish it. You just talk to him again and you get 2x tickets each half trip.

Besides the 600 tickets is there a purchase with gold to get the ram?

Beat the !@#$ out of that thing, grab the fruit behind the little hill just before the straight stretch to get the keg, grab it again on the way back. B-line to the turn in the keg and get ticket. Cut through the..grab the fruit. Rinse and repeat...one way but not the only way =)

So you want to help out at Brewfest? I've got the perfect task for ya. I'll put you on one of my racing rams and you head down to Kharanos. I've got some kegs I need to pick up.

Flynn Firebrew is waiting on a hill near a stack of kegs. He'll toss you a keg when you get near, then you run the keg back here and toss the keg to Pol Amberstill. You can only carry one at a time.
