You can actually take off the buff and watch them anyways if you don't want to be a tree. You just need to use it to start it off.

Please tell me what i'm doing wrong. I see the flag and the goblin. I can turn into the tree... Nothing happens... I've tried looking all over the web, asking people online, and nothing. For anyone who's already done this quest: I suggest using costume near the water so you can spend your time fishing instead of listening to the conversation. Yes, you can fish while in the costume.

You do not have to climb up the bluff. It's right on the beach, in Traitor's Cove.

If the flag is not up, I watched people turn into a tree and "force" the flag to come up. However, as an additional person who did not "force" the flag, I did not get credit even though I did observe the exchange.

My entire party only got credit when the flag popped up on the beach naturally.

The coords are 18,84 on Silvermyst Isle which is the little round island of the south west (lower left) corner of the map.

If you go to the ruins where the naga are and look out across the water you will see Silvermist Isle it is on the left or west of the isle in the rocks. The screen shots on here helped me find it

If you right click on the buff icon, you�ll turn back and you can move around! The best thing is that neither the gnome or the goblin will care!

The Tree Disguise Kit is usable only in the cove!
It is NOT a reward for completing the quest - don't be fooled.

The only thing you get from this quest is a couple silver and some experience.

Naga flag appears in the middle of the beach right at those co-ordinates.

Just run next to the flag and use your disguise kit. That's all, cake.

Okay this quest is very easy I'll break it down simple.

If you are using Coords it is in fact 18, 84. U do not have to go inland it is right there on the beach.

No coords--travel west of the camp past the ancient ruins in Wrathscale Point. You need to jump into the water and swim across the lake to the other side. You should see a little beach cove, that beach is where you need to be.

Once on the beach right click on the mask you will morph into a tree. The flag must be present in order for the meeting to take place. I am not sure what brings the flag up, but when I was in the right place the flag appeared and I morphed. Not sure if I had good timing or if it is a correct physical placement thing.

ARGH I become a giant tree and whenever I morph into a tree I end up in either Moonwing Den or Silvermyst Isle...

There's definitely a bug here. Once I cast the tree it says my location is "Moonwing Den" even though I haven't actually physically moved. As soon as I turn out of a tree, it says I'm in "Traitor's Cove".

I can't get the guy to spawn even though the Naga Flag is up.

I am transforming into tree and nothing happens. I was in traitor's Cove many times and it doesn't changes anything.

I have somehow lost the tree disguise kit and thought by abandoning the quest I could receive it again. Did so and went back to the quest giver Admiral Odyseus, received the quest but not the tree disguise kit.
Is there any way I can get it, cause back stepping is not possible.Thanks for any input.

I thought it was kind of funny how there is this tree in the middle of the beach with not a single other tree around. Kind of Random-like. :D

And its on the smaller island to the south where theres an indent on the east.

I was in my disguise on the coastline, so I took it off and walked right in between the two guys. The disguise is only needed to begin the meeting.

Follow the east coast around to a cove and use the disguise at the flag. You sit there and watch the meeting and then return. Very Easy!

Coords are very useful if you have the sense to use them.

Follow the coastline to the island on the far west, across the water from Wrathscale Point. The cove is on the east side of the island.

I walked up to the flag and was able to plant down at 18,83. The two guys come out, talk, then you are freed. Return the disguise & you're done with this one.

Wouldn't it be cool if this was like Raene's Cleansing, where you could just stall most of the way through and keep an unusual transformation item? (In that quest, you get a rod that turns you into a Furbolg.) But no, if you have it in the bank and try to get another from Odysseus, you get the "I can't carry any more of those" message.

In any case, the disguise only works in the very specific area of Traitor's Cove, where and when the Naga flag is flying. Oh well.

I found this information a little misleading, but only because it needs clarification.

There are two islands. The big on where you quest on, where Exodar and Azure Watch is. And then the small one to the south west, with the Moonkin. THAT is the island.
There you go to the east side of the small island. Around halfway down the east side is a small crack into the island, if you look on the map. A small arm of water goes a little into the island.
Head into that passage (between two small mountain sides). There is the cove :)

Stay close to flag, do it one by one.

Seems to be bugged in BC-Classic, with only one person getting credit at a time for the quest. The workaround seems to be grouping up, and using the tree disguise from your action bar, not clicking it in your bags.

Admiral Odesyus at Odesyus' Landing on Azuremyst Isle wants you to observe the meeting that is to take place between Geezle and the traitor.

Return to him when you know the identity of the traitor.

According to the plans, the traitor and the leader of the goblins, Geezle, are to meet at a cove on the western island. I need you to be at that meeting, <name>.

Remember the tree and leaves? You're going to wear them! It's a perfect disguise.

Go to the cove and look for a naga flag. If the flag is there, it means a meeting is planned. Use the disguise kit when you see the flag and wait. Eventually the traitor will show up. Let the meeting finish then return to me with the identity of the scoundrel.
