Just a tip: Pick up the "Unyeilding Souls" quest https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10050 along with this quest as you'll likely have to kill some of the undead there to get to this book.

The book can be found at (54,86). It is unguarded, and sits upon the steps. Don't miss it, it is easily overlooked.

*54,86 is directly south of the Honor Hold. The house is at the edge of the cliff.

This book is not in any of the buildings inside the Expedition Armory, but it is outside the south wall still in Expedition Armory territory. Its on the steps of a small burned down building as south as you can get without falling off the edge of the land. If you look at the World Map of Hellfire Penninsula the book can be found between the "M" and the "O" of the word "Armory" on that map. Good luck and have fun!

It is a white book located south of the Expedition Armory in a structure with no roof like some in the Expidetion Armory.

Go south of the armory, book is right on the steps of an old house its sparkling, there are other mobs in that area so i suggest u avoid going through the armory.

The easiest way to get there quickly is to go around to the west of the town walls. You can skirt mobs in the gap between unyielding spawns and boar spawns.

I would suggest taking the aforementioned quest, "Unyielding Souls" (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10050), and fighting your way though town along the west side on the way back. You can then get the follow-up quest "Looking to the Leadership" (https://www.wowhead.com/tbc/quest=10057) and make it back before all of the soldiers re-spawn.

Real easy on my level 58 rogue. All you have to do (for those who aren't sure what the Armory is) is just run down to the messed up village to the south, almost all the way off of the continent. Stealth through it and you'll see a gate. Go through and you'll see one lonely house right on the edge of outlands. On the doorstep, you should see a book. Right click and stealth quickly.

PS. Whatever you do, don't fall off of the edge!! 2g, 91s repair cost, not so fun.

BTW: You don't have to go through the whole thing if you are not a rogue. The armory is almost like a little town. There is a wall covering it, but when you go south, walk AROUND it to the East or West and there are openings in the wall. Be careful when going to the side. There is a wall with some ghosts right on it/near it and a line of ghost patrolling the very outside. If you go in between them youll be fine. I would suggest going on the EAST side.

And come on people! Be smart, don't bypass all of the enemies if you have "Unyielding Souls".

You must go south of Expedition Armory throught destroyed wall. Book lies on the doorstep of destroyed house on the edge of Outland.

this quest it vary E Z. if u are a druid just go in cat and disappear, u cna also do this as a rogue. a nuther good thing 2 do is to get the quest Unyielding Souls. +, the most important thing for this quest is that it is behind the Expebition Armory, not in it!

I just ran trough got the book killed a few horsemen at. Its really easy at least for lvl 59 hunter.

I remember the eve of our departure, when I gave Mysteries of the Light to him. During the campaign and the ensuing years, he never forgot to read his daily passage to the men.

When he left us again, he gave the book back to me. Like a fool, I believed it safe in my quarters to the south of the armory.

Additional Notes: South of and behind Expedition Armory is a burnt out building. The book Mysteries of the Light is on the steps of that building.

Thanx to this post, ran in and out to get the book at the given coords, Died once or twice cause i made a mistake in navigation going in and then trying to flee on the way out. caught by two knights, piece of cake. 9800XP AT LVL59

very easy... did it whit my 59 hunter, i just jump behind the walls at 59,81 picked up the item and killd one rider and run out... the cords a confirmed its realy easy to spot the item, its infront of a littel broke down house

For the Peeps with no Coords-

When you are in Honor Hold, go south (where the graveyard is). You can see another town similar to Honor hold, but in ruins. Head there.

There are alot of ghost soldiers (unyielding *name). They are hostile, but easy to take down. There is a burned house BEHIND the ruins of the city, there you will find the book, glowing. (on the North side of the house)

you are not requiered to kill anything, and if done correctly, you simply just pick it up and hand it into the quest finisher :D You go around the back, evade the armory completely, and you will see a burnt down shack. go near the steps that lead into it, you will see the shiny book. use it, pick it up and hand in quest :D

for those without co-ords, go through the arch in the wall south of the town - the book is on the doorstep of the ruined house straight ahead.

Co-ordinates confirmed...give or take. I found the book at 55.87

There's a lvl 61 undead leiutenant in a husk of a building near a stone archway. Behind that is a large open space with many footmen and knights, and a ruined house. The book is right on the threshold; looks like a small white square.

And you don't even have to walk through the ruins, just walk around. The house is in the very back, away from everyone else. You may have to fight two lvl 58-60s but that's it if you go around.

It's directly south of Honor Hold.

This quest was EASY! Since I stealthed the entire way, I only had to fight one guy, and that's because I was mounted on the run back.

I just did this as a 59 mage without fighting anything. Mounted and rode around the western side of the armory and south to the house. A couple of the footmen aggroed on me but not enough to dismount me. Picked up the book, mounted up, and rode back to the inn at Honor Hold. Total time not much more than 5 minutes.

Found it at 54 86. For people without coords, I found it right in front of the door frame of the ruined house behind the ruins, right on the edge of the drop

To complete this quest you need to retrieve Mysteries of the Light and return it to Father Malgor Devidicus at Honor Hold.

Make your way to the south of Honor Hold to Expedition Armory location. You don't have to kill any mobs here, just carefully proceed to the very southern area.
There is a ruined house can be found (in front of the tiny floating island). Look at the stairs at the house and you will spot Mysteries of the Light here.
