I'd just like to Say. The Book is not at the Building on a Floating island only Attached to Land by a Row of Fence Railing.

Walking along that Railing can hurt. as i found out before see'ing the book...

Basically, the bottom middle of the "D" in "Expedition Armory" on the map.

You can completely run AROUND the whole armory area, to a dilapidated house on its lonesome at the very south end. It's on the steps.

For those of you trying to find this and having trouble... go south of the fort itself. There's a tiny house right on the edge of falling off the map where you'll find the book.

Unlike me who spent four hours killing inside the fort, thinking the armory was a building inside the keep. No... go around the armory, or through the middle out the other side, and you'll find the house he's talking about.

Old codger didn't even have a follow up quest... but it was nice while I was there getting my new necklace.

This quest is a piece of cake of you walk around the West side of the armory. You'll only encounter a handfull of mobs as opposed to going straight through the armory.

you have to go all the way in the back of the expedition armory. past the big wall in the back. i was walking back there and i found it. its infront of a house in the back of the wall. i did it on a lvl 60 boomkin druid. easy quest.

I walked to the little island south of that where the only way to get to it is some half-assed fence suspended in the air. There was nothing there, and on the way back I paused on the fence to /wave, pressed the wrong button and fell to my death :(

Mysteries of the Light is a quest related item - you need to collect it to complete An Old Gift quest.

Make your way to the south of Honor Hold to Expedition Armory location. You don't have to kill any mobs here, just carefully proceed to the very southern area.
There is a ruined house can be found (in front of the tiny floating island). Look at the stairs at the house and you will spot Mysteries of the Light here.
