Drop rate is incorrect because it doesn't take into account people who don't have the quest. I got one after about 4 kills.

They drop wether you have the quest or not.
I finished the quest where you need to find it, but I was still able to get another one.

Have to probably stay near the Irontree Woods (are the Irontree mobs anywhere else?)

Drop % is borked because of all the people killing them without the quest. If you do, it should drop pretty fast. If not...make sure you really have the quest listed maybe?

Felpaw Wolves drop the Silvery Claws (lvl 47/48)

Irontree Stompers drop the heart (lvl 52/53)

Drop rate is good if you have the quest.

2nd Irontree dropped the heart.

This is a quest item, which means that it doesn't drop everytime anybody kills it.

Killed a mob thought it would be fun to know the drop rate. seing how bad it was I thought to myself while kiling the next mob "this will be a long night" Guess what happens :P:P it drops :P:P

The ironwoods full of those things is at 48,30

this quest is pretty basic. All you have to do is kill some bears and/or wolves. then go to the iron tree woods and kill some stompers. dont get frusterated if the heat dont drop right away it is a rare drop lucky for me i got it on my first kill :)

i killed the wrong mobs.....102 times
when i found the right mobs it was dropped by the 2nd mob

First Irontree Stomper I killed dropped the heart, Highborne Gloves, the Irontree heart and it dinged me to lvl 53. lol

3 kills for me very easy just go where the map tells u to im a lv 52 hunter just arggoed with my pet and shot the hell out of the guys then i was done still need to get the claws well good luck guys

For those of you who are having problems getting these to drop, check your bags and make sure you don't have the Cenurion Beacon. Once you get rid of this the heart dropped for me the next kill.

It calculates the drop from drop/kill ratio and it counts the kills if you don't have the quest

That drop rate factors in everyone NOT on the quest killing them. If you have the quest, I imagine the drop rate is infinitely higher....

Some times this item will remain in your bag after you have summoned Aquementas to get him to create Silver Totem of Aquementas for you.
After you complete the quest Aquementas you can safely delete this item from your bags along with the bag Eridan's Supplies
