I've logged over 100 kills of Solakar Flamewreath (for my priest tier 0 shoulders) and have never seen this drop. If you get this pattern, nevermind the trinket, you're very lucky. If you happen to be a fire mage who comes up against this trinket, I sure hope you have Spell Alert as you'll probably own yourself ;)

Not to toot my own horn, but killed this boss last night and got this schematic on my first try. Since this was the only reason I went in there, I was pretty stoked.

It would make you not take the damage. Besides, it's +18 fire resist on a trinket.

Yeah I just got the schematic off Solakar Flamewreath in UBRS rolled a 97 against the other 2 engineers in my Raid group (Go Me!). It's the same area that LEEEEEROY nnnnnnJENKINS! wipes his party in that mildly amusing vid....

Can't wait to get the mats to try this out PvP in Hillsbrad against the cookie cutter Pyroblast Alliance mages... ^-^

And the fire resist is a nice bonus for my priest in MC also....

I want this badly because i already have the ice one made. does anyone know if u use the ice one the fire one will also go to 5 min. cooldown without it being used? or can they both be used at the same time.

So, it reflects damage... could you use it on onys deep breath to simply avoid taking damage?

This does reflex onyxia's breath but since onyxia is pretty much immued to fire attacks it just gets resisted. In MC this really isnt useful for a priest but for anyone elsa it is. It will refect only fire spells that do damage.

regardless of whether or not you deal damage to ony with the reflected spell, you still prevented the damage from being dealt to you. and +18 FR on a trinket FTW

Good allround instance trinket, apart from the obvious Deep Breath usage, well nice for Geddon when you're the bomb, Gehennas when you're in a rain of fire (need to react quickly though),
Magmadar in an emergency when you are low on health, to name some examples.

well it is a good trinket not sure if it is so hard to get :P! i gat 2 in 2 days :)! one i learnd and the other sold in AH for 100g!i think 5% Drop chance is pritty big! i think that Skullforge Raver has the same Drop chance and i see 10000 ppl wearing it ( i had 2 myself )!
anyway GOOD Trinket! and fact that is not unique is nice ... :P

I just got it today on Boulderfist server. Horde side. Eridin Can make u one. I dont think many people have it bc when i posted in the Trade channel tons of people were all over it. I crafted one today and threw it on the Ah for 500G did NOT sell the pattern...too rare i think.
It's sold...i will continue to make money off this sweet trinket. The FR is worth it to some ppl alone. Still haven't used one for myself...When u actually Use the trinket does it show as a bubble or buff? Something like a talisman? or no?

Nobody is ever going to UBRS right? And the drop chance is only ~6%. So new engineers do what? Is there a way to solo this on 70? Hardly :(

grrr, i have done about 28 FF's, have been looking the AH for this for over a month and I still don't have it...

Dropped today from egg boss.
I used my need to get it and was offered up to 40g from other players (dunno why they didnt roll need also if they really needed it).

This baby is going to be nice to have in MC and pvp :)

Reflection is useful not to dmg mob, but to reflect... its nice when u can avoid 4-6K crit :) Its also has much bigger sense in PvP - if fire mage does his best and u manage to reflect... :)))

The reuse timer on it is 5 minutes from what i've been told.. Not bad compared to some of the other items out there with extremly long reuse timers..

4 Dark Iron = 32g
3 Truesilver Transformers = 9g
6 Essence of Water = 48g
4 Star Ruby = 4g
2 Azerothian Diamond = 10g

So it's about 103g if you use the numbers I have.. Which isn't to bad. These numbers are probably different for each server.. I'm just using the numbers that I know of off the top of my head for my server.

Btw, picked up the schematic for this the other day, so if anyone on Horde/Deathwing needs one made please contact me. Will craft it for free if materials are supplied.
