As a 35 warlock I've found this to be the best food for me because of it's mana regen buff and health and mana regen allows me to get right back into the fight.

For low level (30 minimum, obviously), this food is *fantastic*. It will restore a large amount of health and mana, and the regen effect is handy at those levels as well. Highly suggest keeping a stack with you at all times for when you need to restore.

Even at higher levels, this food is a very good thing to have about. I'm level 60, and still keep a stack about for the mana and health restore. Point for point, it's probably the most economic 'brain food' you can get. I can't think of any other food that restores both Mana and Health until, well, at *all*, actually.

Although it regens 2 less mana every 5 secs ( 6 instead of 8), it last 5 minutes longer, and restores mana while you eat ( nightfin soup only restores health when eating.) If you eat and drink at the same time, you will restore your mana much quicker, giving you less downtime.

compare:

Nightfin soup: 874 health over 27 secs while you sit and eat, 8 mana every 5 secs for 10 minutes ( instant)

Sagefish Delight: 840 health AND 1260 mana over 21 seconds, 6 mana every 5 secs for 15 minutes ( have to remain eating for 10 seconds).

For me, at least for PVE, Sagefish is the winner.

It also has some very nice regn on it, +6 and it stacks with all enchants (the oils)

Gives 1080 mana over it's 15 minute duration

On my paladin I'm level 50 and have quite a lot of intellect, around 3800, so this is giving barely 1/4 of my mana over it's full 15 minutes duration, that's not great, but I can say that there has been moments in dungeons where I've been out of mana and barely had enough to save the tank all thanks to an extra 5-20 mana this had gave, so in the case of a long pull or accidental extra mob this can be quite good, whether or not it's better than Runn Tum Tuber Surprise probably comes down to the fight duration, if the fight is longer than 1 minute then the Sagefish may be better, since you'd have more mana overall. Also Sagefish Delight is quite cheap to make, you just need to fish a bit, because of this I like to give some out to casters at the start of a dungeon, speeds things up a little since people don't need to drink as often or for as long.
