Just wanted to say I have been wearing this belt for about a month (along with the bracers) since hitting 70.

I find it hard to beat the 68 damage and 63 stamina they give me (bracers have 9 stamina on them).

These may actually be worth farming netherweave cloth for. Think about this:

1 stack of netherweave = 3 bolts of netherweave
3 bolts of netherweave + 1 rune thread = roughly 3g 20s

1 greater planer = 8g or so
stack of arcane dust = 20-25g
small prismatic = 8g or so

as you can see, its not too much of a profit, but if theres plenty of this on the ah for cheap, it can be a quick way to make a bit of money.

For being just a green this belt is decent, combine it with another piece and you can salvage the 2 piece set bonus as you hunt for better gear.

Is this recipe a drop to be found or is it learned through a trainer? If learned, where can I find the trainer?

Im a lvl 70 lock weawring all blues and im still rocking the netherweave belt/bracers. You cant beat them! Losing the extra spell damag efrom the set bonus would kill me. Im at 800 Shadow damage, wearing the Shadoweave set, and i still cant find items to replace the netherweave belt/bracers. Maybe once my guild progresses a little farther into kara, but for now im wearin these.

low mat cost and decent DE's makes this great for leveling enchanting and tailoring.

i think that there is way better gear. just from a quest at lvl 61 i got a belt that did 21 spell dmg but has 3 sockets. also those shattrath wraps are really good if you want some awesome spell dmg.

Does anyone know where to train for the Belt and the Bracers? Many posts above say HH for Alliance, but she doesn't seem to offer it anymore.

Thottbot does say if it's trainable through vendor, so I'm inclined to think the bracer and belt are drops.

Netherweave Bracers + Belt = +68 Spell Damage.

Bands of Nefarious Deeds + Nethershard Girdle = +67 Spell Damage.

Not saying that the craftables are better than the Kara drops - but the fact that you can even make a comparison at all is fairly remarkable.

As an affliction lock, I've tried replacing these last 2 remaining greens ... but I just haven't been able to do it yet.
