It has been confirmed by Nihilum that the sword is real. It will be in TBC.
Check their "Burning Crusade Q&A" page 7.

lol this is bull **** this sword was on the world of warcraft episod of southpark! its also formaly known arthas's sword called the frostmourne... however you spell that... in my server roomers have been going around that this sword will be in a level 70 elite quest for the undead in TBC... i farily doubt tho... other roomers have been going around that arthas will be fighting in scourage and if you kill this level 72 elite.. 1 in 100 chances it will drop... still i dont give a **** in beliving this

Not unique but so powerful, undoubtably a quest reward. And quests, by nature, are unique. Same thing as the T2.5 and T3 sets, not classed, but only available to specific classes.

Wonder what it looks like. I believe on the south park episode, the Hungering Cold was the model used to show the Sword of a Thousand Truths.

off hand doest mean you HAVE to use it there.can use a one hand sword in either, and can use in both if you have two. it's only when a sword is "unique" that means you cant wield 2. Main hand would also limit you to one of a kind

The ss shown by one of the blokes is that the sword is vendored, along with loads of uber stuff. And the area to buy it is "Area 52"... Quite likely that blizz is now considering to take it off or changing its stats... and "advised" websites like alla to take it down...

with 0 speed either it never hits or it will hit instantly infinate times. therefore it will be equal death. the DPS could be 1 and it would kill any naxx boss in one second. a weapon with 0 speed would kill ANYTHING in one second or less.. you could have 99999999999999 armor and 99999999999999 health and 999999999999999999 defense. and your dead in one second of being hit by that.

The episode of sp was very nice..
about the sword: they shouldn't bring it ingame, it's a thought up sword by or blizzard or sp makers, they shouldn't ruine the joke by making it real in WoW...

Well....why am i not surpirsed....i mean that whole south park episode was an obvious "commercial" for WoW. The SP creators just had a, what i view as, semi-free reign over what happened. Sure this sword might be nice to have, but i really think that blizz shouldnt bring it to the game...ever since that sp episode all i hear in orgrimmar or the LFG channel is "the sword of one thousand truths this and that and blah blah blah im a dbag"

to anyone who doesn't know warcraft lore, in WC 3 They seek out the sword of 1000 truths to defeat arthas =P and YES it is true, so why would they not bring a weapon from WC 3 into wow huh? Anyone who doesn't agree? Go play WC 3 And TFT!

i have a very easy way to tell if this item is bull@#$% and it is, if you look at the text after classes: it say somewhere along the line that shamans can wield it, and its classified as a SWORD, and last time i looked shammies couldn't wield swords

Yo peeps Area 52 is the area outside of Ironforge where the gnome Airbase is! It does exist maybe in patch 2.00 youll be able to get to it

I can't believe anyone on here is actually gullible enough to think this will be in the game!

Find me a single official blue name post, Official WoW confirmation or a TBC Beta screenshot featuring this item. The simple fact is that you won't because it does not and will not exist.

The sword was a 'joke' people, it's not going to be an item you can ever get in game in much the same way that the 'one ring' doesn't exist in game.

The simple fact that such a sword would be game breaking in so many ways is all the evidence you need. For starters, anyone with a modicum of skill would be untouchable with this in PvP!

looks just like 'the Hungering Cold' when you see it on South park, I don't think this is the actual, the real sword has different stats, and will come with the new arena prizes in BC, I believe

This sword is complete bull*&%^. The image of the vendor that "sells" it was proven to be fake. It also has the same graphic as The Hungering Cold, a drop from Kel'Thuzad. It isn't real, it never was, it never will be. It was just a media stunt in order to promote the game. Get over it.

Oh, and if you're wondering where the stats came from, impersonation swords have been spreading across private servers for quite a while. In other words, someone made them up.

I am so sick of people saying this will be in TBC, because it WON'T!

You guys are acting like retarded monkeys. Frostmourne was the sword in WC3 and TFT. According to the South Park show The Sword Of A Thousand Truths has roughly 118 dps if I remember correctly. Blizzard themselves said they wouldn't make a 2 handed sword that powerful, they aid it would be somewhere along the lines of 70-80 dps. And spell correctly, you guys rape the english language.

Ancestral Spirit Wolf Totem is a quest related item - you need to use it to summon a ghost wolf during A Spirit Guide quest.

To proceed through the quest you should go to the exact spot where you had found Fel Orc Corpse during the previous quest.
Place Ancestral Spirit Wolf Totem and wait for a ghost wolf will spawn. You should follow it for a few minutes, it will lead you to Mag'har Grounds village.
