They drop from any Bleeding Hollow-fel orc around Zeth'Gor. Seems to have a droprate of 10~20%.

it isn't bad. Aprox, 1 dropped per 4 or 5 mobs. Be careful with the pigs and don't get aggro.

so far, 7/12...... probably a good 30-40 kills, so 20% sounds right to me.

Despite what this says about the drop rate for each of the mobs, after doing this quest in a group for 3 people, we discovered that the Peons have nearly a 100% drop rate, and we never looted one off any of the others mobs. So, if you're looking specifically for the talismans - Go with the Peons.

took around... 48 kills. got ganked on, killed by pigs and orcs... horrific quest. kill orcs around zeth gor.. if you have nothing better to do.. try do this at a slightly higher level >.<
the orcs on the dogs have the highest drop rates... sucks.

For some reason they dropped A LOT more off peons for me than anything else. I'd say 10 out of 2 were from peons; they dropped off em about 90% of the time.

Confirmed, drops on Peons are high.

From 60k + kills 18.1% drops from Grunts.

If you need this item dropped fast -> farm Grunts.
The rest is lucky random drop.

I did this quest with level 58 warlock and i went 2 the peons as the guy said about the 90% drop rate and on the first kill and then on the thrid kill the item dropd =]]

no, it's NOT true. I don't know about the polymorph but there is no way for a rouge (and prolly no other class either) to prevent the tormentors from releasing their dogs

Cursed Talisman is a quest related item - you need to collect one to complete Ill Omens quest.

Make your way to the east of Honor Hold and cross the area filled by carrion birds. You should see large fel orc camp to the south. Make your way toward it.
Its unnecessary to enter the camp, you can kill several orcs outside the camp to get Cursed Talisman. Continue to the east and you will run into Expedition Point
