Found along the northern edge of Grangol'var Village which can be reached by following the road directly south from Shat.

Don't bother with this unless you are in a group. The difficulty of the final quest in this series is way out of wack. The respawn rate is very fast and there are 4 mob roaming patrols. Can be done solo but why bother.

Avoiding the patrols is a matter of keeping your eyes open. Did this one solo with a Level 65 Combat Rogue. I soloed it with a fair amount of ease, but that's because I'm a Rogue. I was able to stealth and sneak past the FOUR level 65 locks and their FOUR level 62 demon pets that guard the entrance to the bosses lair.

Soloing all 8 mobs seems to me a quick way to the nearest graveyard. Soloing one of the four-person patrols is doable. Painful and nearly fatal, but doable. My advice? If you have a life and therefore aren't able to devote the 12 hours a day to garner those "uber-l33t" skills like killing everything on the map, solo, instantaneously, (X-D) Take a friend.

Other than that, it's a doable and exciting, if not necessarily easy, quest.

13,575XP for turn in at level 65, plus a selection of nice, if not great, weapons.

Please ignore all the messages below about mobs and stuff. That is about the quest the FOLLOWS this quest (Who are they?). For this quest, all you have to do is talk to Private Meeks at 40,36. The only mobs in the area are your usual array of wild animals in the woods, wolves and such.

A report's just come in from one of our scouts near Grangol'var Village. He says that a shadowy band has moved into the ruins there.

<name>, I want you to speak with Private Weeks and see how you can assist him to figure out what this unknown group is up to. Just head west past Stonebreaker Hold. His last report puts his position near the north entrance to the village.
