Go to Cthun summoning place at 41.60 (around), kill all the guards and try to use the staff. It requires an "unguarded place", which I found a bit hard to find. I killed all the summoners and then at the site of the last kill, used the staff and it worked. So the correct place is by the pond where the cthun is being summoned. Keep trying at various locations around it if you get the error message.

It wouldn't let me activate the staff before I killed the 4 guys at the site. Fortunately they only have ~2600 HP, so they go down quick. Just kill them all and use the staff. Simple as that

Incredibly easy. The ritualists have basically no hit points, and I had to kill 4 of them who were sending the light beams to the mob in the pool. After I flew there, it took literally 2 minutes because the "guards" we such pansies - think level 55ish even though it says they're 68.

All the mobs were gone and I was using the staff like crazy everywhere around the C'thun, but it kept telling me that i didn't have a target. I tried targeting everything around me, but nothing worked. Is anybody else having this problem?

40,60 is fine too... you have to kill all the 4 or 5 summoners, they have only few hp.

The quest is really simple. He gives you "The Staff of Parshah" You have to kill all 4 MOBS that are in the area (the 4 with purple lighting coming from them) Then stand by the last one and USE the staff.

If someone is completing the quest when you get there you will not get credit. If the mobs are dead when you get there you will not get credit.

You have to kill all mobs and use staff.

LOC 41.60 confirmed.

All you need to do is go to the summoning point (41.60) which is between Wildhammer Stronghold and Eclipse Point. Kill that summoners (they will be channeling a purple beam to the C'thun like thing) and use the rod at the edge of the lava.

41,60 is correct. Kill the first guy thre. then run and kill the other guy at 40.60. Go closer to the lava. And voild you are done =)

These quest chains were incredibly easy! I couldn't believe it.
I only had to kill 1 summoner and just moved forward a bit and used the staff. Very easy took less then a minute.
A easy 13g, and green to vendor:)

easy Q. Kill all the guards and use the staff.
When you gets to 41.60 you will see that a small spot that is points out... Stand on that one and use Staff of Parshah.

I´m sorry my friends, but I stayed exactly at 41-60 and I can´t use the staff. The mobs wasn´t be chanelling the bean, they was all stoped. So I kill all those, but didn´t works. Please help me!

As the above posts said go to (41,60) kill the 4 channeling ritualists and use the staff when your on the point of land that cuts into the green lake stuff, worked for me

Ok it seems that you need to clear the ritual yourself, if anyone (opposite or friendly players) else is killing a few as well, you won't be able to complete the quest.
You can however use the staff, and the big blue thingy will dissapear, but you won't get the complete message.
So you really have to kill all 4 ritualists yourself in order to complete it.

40.716, 60.283 are the exact coordinates I was standing. Basically the very edge of the land/lava.

40,60 is where the staff actually worked, its the inlet to the left. Kill all the ritualists, and then use the staff on the inlet (40,60). All other places I tried gave me error message of requires unguarded area.

its the 2nd time i die in the lava trying to get to the unguarded summoning site.
everytime i get an error message saying requires unguarded summoning site. in the middle of the big green thing, i can use the staff but i am sitting on lava.

To make the site "unguarded", you must kill all of them. The rod works after that.

Allience can also complete this quest

Go to the east of Wildhammer Hold and look for a shadow of C'thun thing, kill the conclave guys around it then step to the edge of the green lava and use the staff in our backpack

make sure you kill the ones with the blue lines coming from them they are the ones doing the acutal summoning otherwise it gives you a message stating you need an unguarded summion stone

For the horde, once you get tp wildhammer, ride along side the Bird ppl base camp near where the wildhammer guardaians are fighting the infernal attackers. Ride all the way to the back towards the lava lake. there are 4 ritualist very easy kills they only have 2k health. I think I only had to kill 3 of the bird ppl to get around the mountain to get to the ritualist. Quest rewards suck, but i just vendor them for the gold.

All you need to do is to walk around untill 4 Ritualists are spawned. You just kill 'em and use your staff.

After riding around for half an hour trying to find the coords i found one dark conclave ritualist on the east side of the lava lake - just past the volcano. killed him in 2 seconds and used the staff. Quest complete.

Descrizione

The spirits of the dark conclave seek to summon an ancient and powerful evil through a ritual conducted at the lava pits to the south of the Sketh'lon Base Camp.

Gul'dan's magic mingled with their own, empowering them to aid this creature in manifesting in our world! We must not allow this to happen, <name>. The death and destruction it would bring are unimaginable!

Carry the staff with you to the site of the summoning and use its magics to stop the dark conclave once and for all!
