Although the princess says "to the east", the map clearly shows the other two camps are to the west. The map is right. The high chief spawns at the northernmost of the two western camps.

Also, although the princess runs back towards Stillpine Hold when freed, you must go the other way, to Blood Watch, to turn in the quest.

The area surrounding where the High Chief spawns is completely swarmed with mobs, so it's very hard to approach the camp with killing them off one by one. Found that out the hard way.

Now to the quest; it takes a while before he spawns, killed 7-8 mobs in the camp until he spawned, and a tip; do not stand close to the middle of the camp when killing mobs, odds are that he'll spawn and you'll aggro him, which is not good when low on HP/mana.

The High Chief is a pretty easy fight if you are prepared, but be ready to use your cooldowns in case of an emergency. He hits like a frigging TRUCK, and has a nasty maul that hits for 40 on cloth, so clothies, watch out.

actually if u look at where shes facing.. she faces south in which case east to her would b west if we look at the map

I went to bloodmyst and tried to do this quest and couldnt this could be a Race only quest or a quest that needs a prequest in Azuremyst Isle?

Argh! I have done every quest I can find or research in both zones (I can speak stillpine furbolg) and she STILL won't talk to my 70 NE Hunter. I know this is not a racial quest so there is a prereq somewhere that I have missed. Can anyone help me figure out what it is?

Edit: I finally found it. Like was mentioned below, there was a tiny 'go talk to someone' quest at the end I had missed. Did what was asked, and the princess was willing to be rescued.

This is for Everyone to take into consideration:

High Chief Bristlelimb spawns at the Northern Most camp...
He also despawns as well. I found that if you kill mobs around that camp he should spawn again, well thats at least my theory.

Took me 20 kills to summon the high chief. As per jynxnet, he will yell: <face the wrath of bristlelimb!>. That's when he spawns in the middle of the NW camp by the campfire

Quest text is incorrect. There is no camp to the East of her. Just kill mobs in her camp, and he spawns directly to the NW of her.

So I only killed a few and he spawned right away. But, I had to take the time to clear the mobs around him, and by the time I did that, he had disappeared! I tried to summon him again by killing the mobs and after 20+ kills he didn't return. So I had to abandon and re-do the quest. It pissed me off that I had to run back to Blood Watch and then back here. ARGH!

Who do I turn in the quest to? I killed the chief, got the key, and unlocked the cage, but the princess just ran away. Went back to stillpine hold and can't turn it in to Chief Stillpine.

Who do I need to see to end the quest?

This quest is a pain in the butt at first glance. However once you figuire the trick, its not so bad.

Kill the mobs in any camp untill you see

High Chief Bristlelimb yells: Face the wrath of bristlelimb!

then go to the NW camp of the 3 tents on the map (don't have coords yet) and kill him. he spawns by the campfire in the middle.

What does it take to trigger this quest to begin? First of all let me state that I am a 65 NE Hunter just working on faction/rep points and doing all the quests that I can. I have found her but she won't talk to me to start the quest. And yes, I did the earlier quest of learning their language from the book.

I, like many others, have completed this quest after a series moments involving frustration and annoyance. So to help those who are having trouble completing this quest, I'll post the details here.

Here's a screenshot of my mini-map. I've marked, labeled, color-coded and uploaded it so you can go check it out. You'll see where High Chief Bristlelimb spawns at (without coords, sorry) and where Princess Stillpine is located. (The image is uploaded in ImageShack.us and is a .png file. Please notify me if something's off.)

If you're still having trouble getting High Chief Bristlelimb to spawn, check to see if you have the quest in your quest log. If you don't, go get the quest from Princess Stillpine. You can talk to her through the cage. So duh, if only I'd realized that earlier, I wouldn't have wasted so much time forcing the chief to spawn.

As for the rest, you'll find all the info you need in the quest description. Chances are, the secret to completing quests without having to go to Allakhazam.com (although we love it dearly), is to read and understand your quest log thoroughly. Jynxnet explained things pretty clearly in his post, too.

The princess' father is in Bloodwatch. No trip to Stillpine Hold is necessary.

How to do Saving Princess Stillpine:

accept the quest
kill the mobs around the area until appear a message in your chat about the High Chief Bristlelimb
go to the High Chief Bristlelimb location (65, 78)
kill High Chief Bristlelimb and loot The High Chief's Key
back to the cage at 68, 81
use The High Chief's Key to free the Princess Stillpine
return the quest at /way 55, 56

You cannot see or accept this quest if you have not completed the "Stillpine Hold" breadcrumb quest back on Azuremyst Isle.
