Mushroom boxes are both a drop and actual boxes that you can loot. When looted the box beware of a 64 mob that will spawn and attack you. When you turn this quest in, Leesa'oh heads east and plants a large mushroom. There is no additional reward or quest, I do not see any reason to follow her unless you're interested in those aspects of the game.

Confirmed, mushroom bridge is at 17, 17. Cross it, and both the mobs drop the boxes as well as objects on the ground, it seemed to me that occasionally the boxes would spawn mobs, seemed to me about 2/3 would spawn mobs.

I confirm that the cave coordinate is 17,14, at this coordinate u will be right infront of two ogres guarding a bridge, which leads to the cave. and YES, each mushroom box u loot a guard spawn right beside u, normally the guard drops another box, so better u kill the guard than running from him.

Coordinates are right on at 17,14. If you have Overlord Gorefist quest you can do most of it at the same time.

1. head to the cave (16, 16).
2. fight your way through the cave, just keep fighting your way to the back killing everything to get the mushrooms off the NPCs.
3. collect all the mushroom boxes along the way, but DO NOT rely on the boxes they are rare and dont spawn anywhere as much as you can get from drops.

Yeah. The same thing happened to me. I turned in the mushrooms, we walked a ways and she went to do her thing and plant the mushrooms when like 4-5 normal bog lord patrols happened to be near enough to aggro her. She dropped before I could save her. The weird thing is, it didn't say that it was an escort quest, so I wasn't sure if I should intervene. I thought maybe it was part of the mini-event. Then she died and I was left alone with her stupid cat, wondering if I had just fucked myself out of more quests. I guess there aren't any more, because after waiting the 5 minutes for her to respawn she didn't have anything to offer me. Still, this is something that Blizzard should attempt to make cleaner. Make her invulnerable while she's doing it, or reduce her aggro range to nil, or something.

The cave is guarded by two ?? Boss level Ango'rosh Maulers. How the hell am I supposed to do this?

Well, this must be a UI glitch. I don't know if it's just me, but these definately appear to be ?? Boss Elite mobs, but do the damage of a mob the correct level.

l got all 10 in the cave on the little island north of the camp. The coords for the entrance of the cave are 17,9. You can kill the ogres there and they'll drop the mushrooms, you can open the boxes and get boxes of mushrooms, and every time you open a box an ogre will spawn and he may drop a box of mushrooms. :D

I also did the cave, pretty nice since they also drop from the ogres.
Then she walk in the patrol when she planted the shroom, took aggro of all 4 of them, but she still died, not the strongest npc. So did i /sad .

cords are true, but the mobs that spawned was level 63, and with one of the creates a mob didnt even spawn, this quest is very easy as 62hunter.

My coords show the bridge at 17,12. No matter, when you get near, you discover the village and the road leading to the bridge shows up as a dotted line.

I actually didnt know about the cave until i was finished with the quest, I got all of my drops from the Ango'Rosh boss (from impending attack quest). Took a very long time but the ogres drop alright money.

You can also turn right just in front of the cave entrance, trek uphill, and find at least 3, perhaps 4 crates with mushrooms there as well...but most are well guarded!

the posts indicate doing this with "us or them" As the post below states, Gorefist is at the top of the hill off to the right, there are lots of souleaters in that area to finish that part, got all mushrooms, all mobs without entering cave.

After finishing the quest with the great info here contained. She went across the lake, planted the shrooms and a giant shroom grew, a bog lord came and ate it and died, she thanked me and said that it worked.

Didnt get any additional xp or anything, but felt good to know that somehow Cenarion Watchpoint is much safer because I completed this chain of quests.

At 17, 14 there is a mushroom bridge, cross it. The Ango'rosh ogres random drop the boxes.

Try to do this quest with the Overlord Gorefist. You can pick that up at Orebor Harborage

I found the Maulers had a 100% drop rate for me, the souleaters didn't drop any, also Gorefist dropped one.

You have to go to ogre HQ, at the very northwest corner of the zone. There's a floating rock for ogres only up there, with a bridge across the gap. There are two Maulers on each side of the bridge on the land side, and two Souleaters (shadowbolt casters) on the island side of the bridge. All of these can be single-pulled safely. Be aware there is a patrolling Mauler who wanders down to the bridge periodically on the land side, so either kill him or wait for him to path away before you pull the others.

On the island side, there are two Souleater casters, and a third who paths in and out of the cave. When I did this quest both the Maulers and the Souleaters would drop the Boxes of Mushrooms you need 10 of. There are also boxes of mushrooms along the inside of the cave that you can open. When you do this, a 64 ogre Mauler will pop on you, so clear the area first, then open the box, collect the item, then kill the ogre. Yes, the ones that pop on you can also drop the mushroom item, at least one did for me.

Related to the quest from Ikuti at Orebar Harborage to kill 10 Maulers and the boss ogre (good quest to combine with this one), the ogre boss Overlord Gorefist is NOT in the cave by the bridge. There is a 63-64 elite at the end of that cave. You need to go off to the right and up the hill for Gorefist, who is on top of the hill.

After I handed in the quest, Watcher Leesaoh walked away from her post and got owned by bog lords. Anyone know if there is a benefit to keeping her alive through that fight?

After i handed in this quest she walked across the water and just on the other side of the water she aggro'ed a bog lord, and the 5(!) MORE came along as a pat(Yes, as in there were 6 bog lords attacking her total) and killed her before she planted anything. I was kinda laughing when it happened, considering she's a druid char and yet she made no attempts to heal herself. But as funny as it was i kinda wanted to see the whole event since i did do all the quests :\

to clarify a little more, the coords 18,8--these coords are the uppermost northwest part of the map, for those of you without coords-- lead you to angorosh stronghold, which is north of the angorosh grounds. nearly every mauler drops a box and you can also find them on the ground. do not make the same mistake i did and run around killing sentries and such in the grounds when the quest is supposed to be in the stronghold (which is a cave, by the way) :P

20,7. Mobs all over the place carry them. includng Ango'rosh Maulers and Ango'rosh Souleaters. I don't see any boxes just laying around.

To complete this quest you need to collect 10 Box of Mushrooms and return them to Watcher Leesa'oh at the Cenarion Watchpost.

Make your way to the north of the Watchpost and Zabra'jin along the Marshlight Lake shore line. Continue to the northwest of northern shore of Marshlight Lake.
After reaching Ango'rosh ground keep moving to the north to the edge of Zangarmarsh. There is a bridge across the gap you have to cross to find quest mobs.
Box of Mushrooms drops from Ango'rosh Maulers and Ango'rosh Souleaters, but rather search the cave, there are usually 4-5+ boxes inside.

<class>, I've got an idea. I want you to head north again, this time into the heart of ogre territory!

Northwest of the Hewn Bog there is a place named Ango'rosh Stronghold, which sits on a floating island across a large mushroom bridge.

The ogres must be storing the harvested mushrooms there. I bet you'll find them all over the place, and probably on the ogres themselves, too!

Bring me a sufficient number and I will try to do something about providing the bog lords with a new source of nourishment.
