Just did it at 70. Just flew over the coords (high above the lake) and it was completed.

You don't have to actually go in the water. I didn't. just stand at 70,81 and that should do it.

In the southern part of the lake there is a giant pump machine (71,80), just get close to it to complete the quest.

There's an enormous water pump on the side of the lake around 70, 80. That's what's causing the lake to dry up, and that's what will get your area explored.

Strangely, I stumbled upon the completion of this quest. I went to the island located at 71,75 and was informed that the quest was completed. I did not have to swim down to complete it. Just go to the large island with the naga.

this quest is very easy. it is no swiming involved.
just go to the cords, 70.80 and you get it (complete) no big deal

Just run to the coords given and it will allow discovery. If ur lookin at ur map, run along the path to Terokkar, and b4 the L intersection, there is a bldg on ur map, this is your location, but coords are 71, 80. BoS Ftw!

Travel to the SW area of the lake. Near the funky looking icon on your map and it'll complete the quest. Now, isn't that easy without spouting off about cooridnates?

Somebody else posted a quest list like this for Hellfire peninsula and i found it one of the most helpful things ever. Is it so freaking hard to say north, south, east, west side of the lake rather than regurgitate the same coordinates from the people before?

There is a factory at 70,80 or the south-western corner of Umbrafen lake. Just go near it and you'll complete the quest

all the coords below are correct. you have to swim right to the bottom and kill the huge dragon monster thingies. 100% drop rate guaranteed. just make sure you dont drown >.< and they have quite a lot of health too. easy XP overall.

Yes, 70,80 approximately. Essentially 69,79 ~ 71,81; coming within this area should flag you as Umbrafen Lake Investigated.

Yeah, 72,80 ish seemed to be good. It's near the big, "what looks like a manufacturing Pumping station".

The previous instructions partially suck, since there are two intersections, and neither of them are Ls!

**If you don't have coords installed, head to the south west corner of the lake and go near this big mechanical tower building, and the quest objective should be met.**

To complete this quest you need to investigate the cause of the water depletion at Umbrafen Lake.

This quest is quite easy to complete, all is you need to do is just visit specific point so the task will be counted and you can head back.
Leave the Cenarion Refuge and head to the south along the shore. Keep moving to the west then. Later you should see a big water pump. Get closer to count the task.

Descrizione

We came to Outland expecting to find small pockets of life. What we discovered in Zangarmarsh was a lush environment with a thriving ecosystem.

Our initial assessment of the area was deceiving, however. The water levels at the lakes and marshes have consistently been going down since we started taking measurements.

The impact this could have on the local animal and plant life is disastrous. Go to Umbrafen Lake, southwest of here, and look for clues related to this water depletion.
