It is a 100% drop rate. Carefull with the draenei looking guys, the nagas "call" them far away for help. However once the naga dies they reset if they got called far from their inicial spawn point.

yea me and a friend were doing the rooting the drain thingies quest and had a really hard time with this ice trap thing. really powerful. beware

Possibly one of the hardest quests I've done since I travelled to the outlands. I did it solo with a level 61 Shadow Priest, killing the Naga's wasn't a problem but isolating them and making sure I didn't attract more than one at a time was the hard part. Good job they had a 100% Drop Rate.

I went to 62,68 and stayed on the outside of the camps patrolling the shallow water looking for lone Naga's I could pull. If the Naga called a minion to help him I just concentrated on the Naga and as soon as he died the minion would vanish.

the dredge sometimes un in to help the naga; but i found that when i killed off the naga the dredge just instantly disapeared

This is best paired with the Now That We're Friends/Still Friends quests from Sporregar, which require 24 total naga kills.

If you do happen to have a Dreghood come after with a Naga, don't do any damage to it, then once you kill the Naga, the Dreghood will go away without doing an further damage to you, this is the same for any enslaved Dreghood with a master, like in Hellfire Peninsula at the Ruins of Sha'naar.

IMO this is one of the quests you want to do as you go, if you don't skip quests often, this will complete itself.

Be careful with Darkcrest Sorceresses and the freezing aura they cast. It causes quite hard ice damage and also gets u frozen in place for like 10 seconds

Great drop rate, the darkcrest sentries wander the waterways. Also, if you don't do any damage (that includes aoe's and totems) the drudges seem to run away once the slaver has died.

For me so far ive killed 10 and got 10 naga claws... so it would be a 1:1 drop rate

I killed mobs at 62,66

I did this quest along with the plant quest because the mobs dropped both the claws and the un-identified plants at a pretty good rate, maybe 8/10.

no problem at 63, took me about 15 minutes.

Link this q with Plants of Zangamar, the nagas drop them, 1 maybe in 5.

The disturbance of Umbrafen Lake is around 70,80 so you can do 3 q`s in 1

To complete this quest you need to bring 30 Naga Claws to Warden Hamoot.

Actually you can just slay naga mobs at any spot and loot Naga Claws from their bodies. Good spot is near Darkcrest shore - to the southwest of the Cenarion Refuge.
Just follow the shore around the lake and you will run into naga area. You can move from the south to the north killing mobs or just kill them around the spot. Drop is 100%.

Descrizione

While the druids from the expedition have made themselves busy studying plants and researching the lakes, I've made it my business to deal with the hostiles in the area.

Ever since we set foot in Zangarmarsh, the naga have launched lethal attacks against us without warning. We've done our best to keep them at bay, but our resources are limited.

I want you to go to the various naga strongholds in Zangarmarsh and show them that we're not to be crossed. Bring me their claws as proof of your victories.
