The respawn on the mob is around 5-10 minutes.
If you see him die, don't wait around. Kill stuff and come back later.

He is level 64 non-elite. Very easy kill with around 8500 health. A good idea is not to stand near the edges of the tower, or lure him down the tower a bit because he will use "Wing Buffet" which will kick you back off the tower and more than likely kill you.

As a hunter you need to stand on the edges of the tower to do him decent damage. when you see him do the spell ''wing buffet'' simpley feign death. ( The option to see what your enemy is casting can be found under the interface options. )

I was fighting him and had him down to about 10-20% health when he did the knockback on me. The fall was long enough to get me thinking "great, another corpse run", but I survived and watched my pet finish him off from the bottom of the tower ;-).

Now while I'm typing this he respawns right next to me and I try again. This time I'm standing with my back against a pillar to avoid the knockback (Wing Buffet). Instead of knocking me, he KNOCKS BACK MY PET right on top of me. I would have loved to see him knock my pet down the tower.

Hehe, what a fun mob to fight ;-).

NB his respawn timer is really short -- I'd say around 3 minutes at most.

i did this solo on my alt which is a 62 warrior and i had a bit of room for mistakes >.< it's very easily soloable.

so i read about him knocking you off and then forgot, and i got knocked off. he yelled a me a bit and came down stairs so i didn't have to go back up there to kick his feathered end.

I was at 1/4 health and right about to kill him so of course I didn't use a potion, then he used his knockback and managed to knock me RIGHT down the middle of the tower to the floor.

What a prick.

OK the knockback is no problem if as you come to the top of the ramp just stop there. You are in a corner and he can't knock you. He silenced me once, easy kill for a 63 mage

This one was very easy to do as a lvl 62 feral druid. Just prowl, pounce, and spam mangle. Use Ferocious Bite when needed. If you stand right in front of him, you don't have a risk to get blown off the tower. I landed in the middle when he used the knockback.

easy as pears... i soloabled this quest as a lv 62 Sub Rogue
all i did was shadowsteped ambushed walked backward 2 a corner so 2 avoid the knockback. wham bam bam done.

yeah, pretty easy, just watch out for him pushing you off the ledge (almost happened twice to me).

That's about the only thing that could go wrong with this (getting pushed out the window), so if you stay backed up to one of the four corner posts, you should be fine. He does use silence on you so this can be bit of a challenge if a squishie tries to solo him, but I did it with my 63 mage.

Here's the trick,when you get to the top, back your self up against one of the corners, then he can't push you back, worked for me.

When ya get to coordinate 43,21 he street its on left go to the top of the castle you fight in a small space , hunter here keep pet on him a bit ranged tuff, the creature is 7000 in health

First thanks to you people that understand what this blog is for, posting USEFUL information. Things like coords, where exactly, fighting tactics. You clowns that like to brag how you did it at such and such level and how easy it was need to get a life and quit posting here.

To complete this quest you need to kill Naphthal'ar and return to Warden Treelos at the Cenarion Thicket.

Make your way to the western part of Cenarion Thicket. There is a watch tower you will barely miss it, easily can be spotted from afar.
Take the stairs up to the top and you will locate Naphthal'ar right there. The fight isnt hard at all so just kill it and go find Warden Treeloswithin the camp.

I dare not go to the top of the tower to speak with it, but you... you look as if you might know the right words to say. Just be careful, it doesn't like jokes and will not suffer fools easily.

If you can, convince it to come down for tea. But, by all means, get it to stop staring at me!
