This set is pretty poor. Realistically 95% of Flamestrike use is done using PoM. -mana on buffs as a set bonus is an insult. The first bonus is okay. As i can't be bothered with WSG exalted i'll get the bracers instead of Dryads (only need the primal hakkari piece) and use this too. With the set bonus and the fact that i'll be using these set bracers over my arcanist ones, this will slightly tip this necklace above Choker of Enlightenment. I'll hold out with this till i've got enough DKP for Choker of the Firelord and Netherwind Bracers. IIf you wear this with the Hazza'rah's Charm of Magic trinket from the set (a bit difficult to get though) you will get the 2 piece set bonus giving you the additional 12 damage to spells. This will put it before Choker of Enligtenment statwise. But you better be using some arcane spells if you are going to use this combo. Nice if you do a lot of AE.

This can be good for people who dont have a good neck piece but for PvP this neck does not make sense since who uses flamestrike in PvP. PoM AP Pyro is all you need to do.

The reduction of Counterspell cooldown on this necklace is unique , thus making it a viable option even at 70 .

5% off arcane brilliance/intellect - whats the point? this is an out of combat buff, this adds more evidence to the waterboy theory...
and 5% off flamestrike, the move that NO mage uses. (they pick blastwave or blizzard instead)

then go get it. ZG us supposed to be a step between Strat / UBRS level instances and MC level instances. The gear is, therefore, going to be better than most but not as good as MC.

If your guild can do MC, what are you doing wasting time in ZG?

Some bosses are even harder than mc and some items are lot better than mc drops. u shouldn�t compare this to strat/ubrs because those instances are pretty poor in drops and skill needed

Actually ZG is a crappy design of Blizzard because it's too hard for guilds with low equipment, and too easy for guilds that have �ber equipment.

My raid group has taken down Ragnaros to %50 5 times, but we can't get past ZG's 5th boss yet. The other raid group in my guild that has taken down Vaelstraz (2nd boss of BWL) has completed all ZG in 1st try. They even got bored after their 10th ZG run.

I know lots of other smaller guilds that went to ZG, had a hard time on the bat boss, and could never get past the spider boss, than gave up. The only actual benefit was to a guild that completed MC several times, got �ber equip then broke up to have 25 players left. Now they do ZG. And they don't like the loot.

ZG isn't difficult at all, with a full blue team ( most of use had the pvp set ) we killed Hakkar on our first run ( before 1.9 )
Now it's not like MC if only ONE guy doesn't listen he will make the whole team wipe

Tier 0 "level" gear is all that you required to complete ZG. Tier 0 itself are not good if you are a warrior/druid/paladin. Go to diremaul for your equipments. Of course, this requires the players to all follow order down to the letter and no slack out at all. (BTW, if your tank is tanking with valor set, he is doing something wrong, go to instance like Diremaul to collect lots of +defense gear.)

Couple of things to note on each boss that can wipe an inexperienced group:

1. Venoxis, Snake boss, don't get close to him when he is in troll form and watch for the poison cloud.

2. Jeklik, Bat boss, shield bash, kick, couterspell the heals and don't stand in the fire.

3. Bloodlord, careful with threatening gaze and make sure you are in a tight group so tank can grab aggro back when he charges.

4. Mar'li, Spider boss, rotate tanks when she is in spiderform and cleanse/dispel off the life leech when she is in troll form.

5. Thekal, tiger boss, watch for the shaman's heal and aoe them to death at the same time, stay close as a group at the second phase so tank can grab the aggro back after the force punch.

6. Arlokk, panther boss, control the panthers and keep them off the healers, all dps on her when she is visible.

7. Jindo, keep the shades, destroy the totems and keep the skeleton pit.

8. Hakkar, get keep the sons coming.

ZG and MC is at similar difficulty in my book since MC mobs have more life/damage, etc, but the ZG bosses require more teamwork and skill.

Lore! You can never get enough of it can you? Well i'm gonna post a little bit of lore about each of these ZG neck items for those who care. Mount Kajaro is the most recognizable mountain on the Island of Kezan (a previously troll-occupied island, but they were driven out by the goblins who built a capital there and now only a few remain). It is an active volcano, and is sacred to the few trolls left on the island, and is their last holdout there. They have a small settlement near the mountain- Voodress Village.

I don't know how many guilds do bug trio like this, but my guild has mages set up in a counterspell rotation, and the -2 seconds to counterspell are really nice in that fight, as all we do for 66.33% of the fight is counterspell.

When was the last time any of you lost a fight or wiped your raid cause you still had 2 seconds left of your CS cooldown?..

Considering the work involved with reaching exalted with Zandalar tribe you really should get more than this. There are blue necks now with +dmg, +hit AND stats that are better than this one.

If there were more items which reduced the CS cooldown then it'd be useful, just like +35 damage won't do you any good, +350 surely will. To bad this ain't the case, blizz threw us a total randomstat on this utter piece of garbage.

- Hell even with the first setbonus (the only one that's decent) it ain't very great, especially considering how the other pieces are mediocre at best. Great job buffing thoose items Blizzard, yea - slap on some +spi and make them EPIC! BooOYah!

You require exalted rep with Zandalar Tribe, and they give this necklace to you iirc. You get a necklace once you hit friendly, and each step up of reputation (ie. honored, revered, exalted, full exalted) allows you to upgrade the necklace.

Thing is, after 50% through revered you stop getting rep for killing trash mobs in ZG, and only get rep from boss kills. Only other way to get rep is to burn bijous at the alter or hand in coins. (Or complete each of the quests available at varying levels of rep)

If you wear this with the Zandalar Illusionist's Wraps, you get:

24 Int
19 Stam
8 Spir
+35 Dmg (2-piece set bonus)
-2 CS cast

Can anyone comment on how hard the quests are? If they're relatively easy, this is respectable for the neck/wrist slots. Choker of the Fire Lord this is not, but not everyone can get that =)

Even though those 2 last seconds are usually the seconds you spend hammering your CS button the most I have to say this necklace is fairly worthless, might be nice for PvP, but for PvE I'd say go with the darkmoon neck.

This necklace levels up as you increase your reputation with the Zandalar Tribe.
They are obtained through Al'tabim the All-Seeing when you reach the appropriate reputation requirements.
The order of obtaining is:

Friendly = Pebble of Kajaro
Honored =Pebble of Kajaro
Revered =Pebble of Kajaro
Exalted = Jewel of Kajaro
