Umbrafen Witchdoctors can be quite hard to find elsewhere in the Umbrafen Village, but I did find one on each floor in Kataru's house (84,90). From the looks of it, this is probably the best location to search for these specific mobs. As I was typing this, one Umbrafen Witchdoctor had indeed respawned on each of the floors in the building, which only strengthens my theory.

I confirm the co-ords of the treehouse being 85,91. I found Kataru with one guard, and no massive spawns after killing him.

Somebody else posted a quest list like this for Hellfire peninsula and i found it one of the most helpful things ever. So i decided to make one for horde players in zangamarsh. they are listed in the approximate order you receive them (well at least the order i got them), and some of the names may be a bit cut off. Katura was on top floor of builidng at 85.90.

Witch Doctors were the worse I think.

Kataru is at the top of the tower/hut at the coordinates others have given. I found that if you have a pet or a voidwalker, they can get stuck in the stairs and won't be of any use to you against the two witch doctors at the bottom of the stairs--happened twice to me. Your best off to pull them outside if you can. Kataru takes only about 5 min. to respawn so if you get there and he isn't visible just wait a little bit as somone else has killed him already. Easy quest!

Did this as a 62 lock. Shrunk like three times, but no fear or falling through the world! :) Coords listed here are all good.

I had no problem with this as a 62 Rogue(Sublety)

Most of what sucked is how they ran away, and the mobs are pretty close together.

Other than that, these mobs were pretty easy to take down, maybe like 10 seconds for each mob.

I tried doing this today, the first witch doctor I tried to kill cast shrink on me and I fell through the world and died. I found my body near shattrath... I haven't tried doing this quest again yet.

This quest wasnt hard but for a lock hmmm, just a bit too many casters for my liking. Take out ur felhunter it helps. The witchdoctors are a pain and kept shrinking and fearing me. so be prepared. All in all, easy.

It only took me a few minutes to kill everything I needed. I saw the treehouse and guessed that's where Kataru would be.

At level 62 I pretty much 2 or 3 shotted everything including Kataru. The only problem came right after killing Kataru. Witchdoctors kept spawning one right after the next, no time for me to apply a bandage and by the fourth one it got kinda close, but I prevailed. I actually enjoyed the new Victory Rush talent. It felt like I was beeyatch slapping the witch doctors. Heh!

Fairly simpel quest.

Did alone as 60 mage.

Kataru is located on 3rd floor in the largest house at 85,89.

All the rest are walking around in the waters there.

Their fear spell is such that it actually knocked me off of the world. The true irony being that I'm a 'lock.

To complete this quest you need to travel to Umbrafen Village and slay Kataru and several common area mobs.

Umbrafen Village is to the south of the Cenarion Refuge, you can simply follow the road to locate the quest area. The village is full of mobs usually.
Umbrafen Witchdoctors may be quite hard to search for as there are seers mostly and some oracles. Kataru is on the top floor inside the big hut at the southern part.

The naga are terrible, yes. But even more terrible are the traitor tribes of Broken and Lost Ones that helped them!

The worst of all are the Lost Ones of the Umbrafen tribe; they use dark magic to trap and enslave others. They're especially cruel to escaped slaves and would slit my throat if I left the refuge even for a day.

Travel to Umbrafen Village south of here and kill them and their leader, Kataru. Until then I will fear for my life every single day.
