From entrance you go right & follow the ledge as it curves around to the left. Once that curve is done you have a sharp curve to the right & the path starts to go down. At the bottom on that first down ramp you hit a hairpin like turn left & down more. The box is in that hairpin corner and it's small. Very easy to miss. Looks like the little toolboxes from newbie Horde quests.

if you don't have coords, go to where there is an intersection on the main road by thier village, go west on the road, if u look up at the hills on the left hand side u will see a small path that winds up the side of the hill/mountain. please note these creatures drop the unidentified plants u need as well.

Man was this thing a pain to find.

I'm standing directly infront of it at 70.55, 97.88 for those wishing for more exact coords.

It's a small metal looking box on a rock.

I've been in this place for over half an hour and I had accidently fallen off a ledge, I'm known for falling off things and went down to where the Lord guy is and as I was working my way up I found the box so I guess my clumsiness works out sometimes =)

Wish I had seen Nietchze's directions when I read the comments earlier though, would of saved a lot of trouble lol ah wells. Atleast I got friendly with the spore people while I got lost.

Yep Coords are acurate, It suggest's 2 People, I solo'd. Hes easier then the guys up to him ,I just pulled the guys by him 1 by 1 , Then Kicked his but. The only thing that sucks is ya gotta fight your way back out. No Biggie. It didnt hurt having the Mark of War and The Marl of Lore.

Coords: 71, 98 using MetaMap

Walk into the cave, turn to the right, follow the path around to the landing, take a right to the downward ramp and the chest is sitting on a rock.

Took me awhile to find how to get ot the cave. Path up to cave is at 75,88.

Pre req was Umbrafen Village quest from Ikeyen, whihc I did at level 60.

Than I got;
Safeguarding The Watchers from windcaller Blackhoof.
Saving The Sporeloks from Lauranna Thatr'well.
A Damp, Dark Place from Ikeyen.

Al three are next to each other at Cenarion Expedition. 80.64.

Did all three in the Funggor Cavern. Entrance at 74.91.

Box was at 70.97.

Lord Klaq was at 72.94.

Made level 61 while in here.

Each kill gave 15 reputation with the Spore.

Safeguarding The Watchers
10,050 XP at level 61. 2 gold and 70 silver. 250 rep with Cenarion Expedition.

Saving The Sporeloks
10,050 XP at level 61. 2 gold and 70 silver. Choice of award and 250 rep with Cenarion Expedition.

A Damp, Dark Place
10,050 XP at level 61. 2 gold and 70 silver. Choice of award and 250 rep with Cenarion Expedition.

when entering the cave, turn left, take the curved narrow corridor till the end, turn left again into a bigger room, its in the far corner on a big rock.

Belongings: Enter cave, turn right, follow path around the wall, keep to the right, go down a small ramp and before you continue around the bend there will be the box on a rock behind a Sporelok.

Even with all the great posts here, this was still a little confusing for me to find. Basically, just keep bearing right. When you go into the cave...veer off immediately to the right, go up the ramp...follow the walkway around quite a bit...then you will see where you can go right again down a little slop. Take that right, go to the bottom and there it is. Bottom line...right then right again.

Take also Safeguarding The Watchers quest from Windcaller Blackhoof in Cenarion Refuge (Lord Klaq is at 72.94 with 2 guardians, third in the back didnt get aggro).

I have been looking for the pack for a long time, and just to even things out for all those people with a coord's program or mod, your are not going south of the Umbrafen Village, that would take you south into Terokkar Forest. Instead from the village go west on the road leaving the village and then look for the cave above the "R" in Terokkar on the map, then you wil lbe entering the Funggor Cavern. Now this is supposted to be the place you find the backpack, although I have been unsucessfull at finding it. I am still searching 45 mins now. If some one can post directions without a coord's program that would be awsome.

Update* I found the pack, it is in a chest you open and these are the directions. Enter the cave, then goto the right and follow the path, as you go it makes a sharp left u-turn, follow that around it then goes up and then to the right again, now follow it down again and go striaght to the wall and there it will be behind a sporelok, in a small chest thing.

A sporelok might be blocking vision of it, so make sure you look behind it.

Very important to remember - the chest is TINY, and hidden BEHIND the sporelock at the very back of the southwest portion of the cave. Refer to the linked pics in the posts prior for the location, but remember to look behind the sporelock to actually find the chest.

As a lvl 61 feral druid, this was super easy. Strangely easy? Maybe it's because I'm a DPS build and the elementals are all casters. Anyway if you're a DPS build who can plow through their heal spells dive right in!

As Goldyyloxx stated, get all three quests:
Safeguarding The Watchers from windcaller Blackhoof.
Saving The Sporeloks from Lauranna Thatr'well.
A Damp, Dark Place from Ikeyen.

To complete this quest you need to look for Ikeyen's Belongings inside a cave south of Umbrafen.

Follow the road to the south and keep moving until the path splits. Turn to the west and move a little then turn to the south and search the area south of the road.
There is a small lake and a path to the Umbrafen cave should be. Follow the path, enter the cave, turn to the right and move along the path. Soon you should see a corridor to the right.
Move down there and you should see a small basket on a big stone. It is Ikeyen's Belongings itself. Get it and leave the cave by the same path.

Soon after I escaped the Umbrafen tribe, I holed up in a cave south of their village. Little did I know that the cave was being fought over by marsh beasts and spore men!

I had to leave in a hurry and left behind a box containing my only worldly possessions.

After managing to sneak out of Umbrafen with my belongings it was terrible irony that I would lose them so soon after. If you're willing to bring them back to me I'll give you one of my very own personal items. What do you say, <name>?
