My rogue used this in his offhand for several levels. It is one of those rare weapons that stow across the back and draws comments. It is fabulous for a combat sword rogue in the offhand....fast (for a sword)...great stats. Now since TBC, it is so rare on my server as not be seen again. Pity that.

Very "meh" melee weapon for this bracket. There are better mainhands and offhands. However for twink 39 hunters, this rocks. 15 agi or 30 int on both and your set...

Not to mention it looks cool as ^&$^.

This sword is named after the Ginsu knife - the infomercial for which set a precedent for many infomercials today, among others by the same company.

Here's a quote from it:

This is actually an amazing sword for this bracket, with this in MH or OH. If dual-weilding swords or weapons other than a dagger, you can always use your other stealthed attacks such as garrote. I open with garrote, and proceed to SS and Evis. the &%!* out of my opponent. Ambush and Backstab are minor losses for the kind of dmg gained by constant SS spams especially while using SnD and DoTs/poisons....

In my experience at this level, swords rogue is better than a dagger. By far.

uh comment on the 39 twink hunter thing, gin su sword is terrible for hunter only use for warriors and rogue. and daggers for hunters is not relivant, protectors sword, Vanqushers sword is hunter stuff for that bracket.

The easiest way to farm this, is to go through Uldaman's back door, through the Echomok door, clear the room, check the bodies, rinse, repeat. The Relic Hunters are in the first room, so it's really easy.

These go for a small fortune now. With Transmogrification in 4.3, many people seem to want a long elegant sword that sheathes to the back instead of a bulky, chunky sword on their hips. Very, very cool sword.

Some guy found it in Uldaman and I bought it for 3.5g. Awesome buy. This sword not only looks kick ass but it has amazing results. Great pair with sword of omen and looks good with any 1h weapon enchantment.

My NE rogue is currently L28, and I'd love to have this around when I'm high enough to use it. Good DPS and good speed make it a great off-hand weapon, and the model looks awesome.

No one mentioned the coolest effect of this sword. Its one of the few weapons that sheath on your back instead of your side. So you get that elusive "X" on your back when you dual wield 2 of em. Only other sowrds that I know that do that are the Phantom Blade and the Skullforge Reaver and only the Reaver can you do 2 of them to get the "X"!

and i farmed/looked for em for 1.5 years, so i know!.

For ppl who are serious in getting these weapons.

its an crazy hard drop rate...so better make 2 bank chars..
1 at horde...1 at allies.
i grinded uldaman 300 times and no drop..so thats what i did.

i looked for em for a long time 1.5years now, i look every day..and only got 4 now...seen 5 more but i always got overbid...bo's i take cose its a verry nice blade for 39twinks.

wtb on llane paying around 900g for it looked for arond 4months know didnt find crap started farming it ran uldaman about 69 times didnt get anytin just a couple nice blues droped im looking for that miner hat leather +14 stam +6 agi on it for my rouge I RECOMEND THIS FOR A HUNTER OR ROUGE 39 TWINK and if u got 39 twinks on ur server save it for them ur just prolly gonna replace it anyway past gorosh on llane and if any 39 twinks wanna join my twink guild ur invited

ive found a good way to farm the sword just farm olaf hes got a .2% drop rate and thats supposaly only blue that drops from him i saw a 39 twink rouge wit it asked him if he farmed it or if he bought it saidfarm olaf kill him about 25times and their u go

just like the title.. why the hell do ppl duel weild these? you want the agi? get an armor piercer from RFK.. its a lv like 24-25 BoP spear with i think 16 agi.. if your a rogue.. why the hell would you want that fast of a main hand.. your gimping the hell out of yourself having a sword faster than 2.2/2.3 in main hand. I cant think of any class that can justify having that fast of weapons @ that lv so please.. someone enlighten me on WTF you are trying to accomplish.

For the above poster, people want to duel wield these for the looks of them, sheathed they are on the back for a nice look. I agree the stats are nice but for rogues looking to do damage get the scorpian sting for main hand, like 2.4 speed, and this for off hand. Twinks want the duel for the look and good dps but if you are just leveling get a slow main hand with this sword.
I had my level 70 prot warrior run uldaman 6 times then got this sword, then bought scorpian sting for 40 gold in ah and sent both to my level 36 rogue. Awesome damage now as sword spec and should last me up into the 40's.

Dropped off of Revelosh on Kilrogg for me after my third run yesterday.

Was debating keeping it for my twink or selling it. Threw it up on AH for 95g buyout just to see what happens and it sold in less than 10 seconds. Pfft. Shoulda bumped up my buyout a bit more. Now I know for next time, if there is one.

I was in a group doing the 1st Necklace quest, Family Treasure, and the Tablet quest. I got mine from a Stonevault Brawler near the map room in Uldaman.

Great sword for a 38 dual wielding warrior. =)

This sword dropped for me from a random Trogg in Uldaman from the back door just as we went in. I sold it in about a half an hour for 40g. I made a Rogue -very- happy. Especially after enchanting it for free.

This blade is actually sheated on the back just like Phantom Blade. If you got two ginn-su or ginn-su with phantom blade they will cross on your back.
Here is a pic of me with Ginn-su and Phantom blade, both with +4 damage enchant (Ginn-su to the left).

You don't need to buy this. If its a drop good for you but you won't be using it long enough for it to matter because you'll get much better equip soon and you'll have more money to boot.
